From novice to nodding to nothing

Well, I have hit a recurring event with my oxy use. I am having no euphoria AT ALL. I go from nodding to nothing. I was at 30mg 4x a day for a year. I am not sure what happened or how to fix this. I would really appreciate any ideas. I keep thinking I have figured it out and then no change. Today I took (2tabs)100mgs of tramadol and was high as a kite?! A few weeks ago I got some hydro and felt some euphoria at 40mgs--way more euphoria than oxy lately.

Is this just tolerance? Maybe I don't understand tolerance--I can take oxy like candy until I pass out--still, no euphoria. Is there some type of popular enzyme issue I am experiencing? Oxy use to be the greatest reason to live--now, I truly could walk away cept' the physical dependence.

The oddest part is the ability to keep taking oxy with no change at all--excluding gradual drowsiness.

Yea, tolerance sucks ass ! Your at about the same dose im at and I know exactly what your talkin about . If you dont want to quit which is probably advisable if your not in to deep or a CP'er... What I did is started plugging the Oxy ,,,, Whoops , Now I got a Plugging obsession and let me tell you its not sexual but its still a little unerving getting a rush after stickin sumpin up your bum and once you get the euphoria its tough to go back to swallowing ;) . So think carefully if you want to go this route ! Other than that is to find a place to order Proglumide and hope it works for you . It seems hit or miss for me and you can build a tolerance to the Proglumide . Take Care , Getinlow

Are you getting the oxys from a legit script? Cause it sure sounds like you're getting bunk pills. I mean, high from hydrocodone and not oxycodone? I know for a fact that they get you high in the same way... this sounds odd. anyway, here's your receipt for my .02

You're in northern florida? There's a huge market for pills in florida, so depending on where you are it's very possible they could be some strange fentanyl analogue pill. Before anyone says it, yes, fentanyl doesn't work well orally, but if you put in enough of it it will. Try using them sublingually and see if they're way more powerful that way.

Took me about 2-3 years to reach this point. It sucks. Only solution i've found was abstience (for awhile ;) and then dosing again.

Try taking a little break for a while, but bunk pills may be a possibility unless it's a legit script

Seriously though. Either you are getting bunk pills, or it's time to switch to a different opiate. That or quit for a while.

The pills were straight factory sealed from a pharmacy. I took a break and lo' and behold...my little slice of heaven returned.


It's just amazing how many I can take in a row w/ no effect and then stop for a day and it only takes 40mg of oxy?! I guess I need to wait in between doses a lot longer. It just gets crazy trying to chase a high around.

Try taking 500-1000mg/day of DLPA amino acid supplements. Its the building block for dopamine and norepinepherine (reward/motivation) chemicals. When your receptors are always covered with soothing opiate, your brain says OK, no need for happy juice for this guy and shuts down the factory. You gotta jump start production again and increase the levels to feel the rush again. You're depleted.

Well, I ran out of meds early due to not feeling anything and I don't see the doc for another week. So, I went out and bought some dlpa. I also have trams to curb the w/d. I have taken a couple doses of the dlpa(1000mg).
I will continue this dose for a week and see if anything changes when I get my scripts. I will report the results.

Well, it wasn't over the top--but it was a difference ( 0 being no high at all; 10 being pure virgin euphoria; oxy 40mg was a 4) I also started spacing doses out to at least every 4 hours. If I go above 50mg in a single dose, I just nod-out/mild nausea. The DLPA did have an effect on its own of curbing the chronic pain.

Any other ideas for pumping up euphoria?

This is how oxy works for me. No high... either slightly spacey or nodding but no euphoria. It's just tolerance. Btw I feel kinda similar as far as oxy vs. hydros... even tho hydros space me out less and make me nod less I can still get more euphoria from them if I've been only using oxys for a while. Your body adapts.

my suggestion is to begin iv admin of the oxy in order to restore the euphoria. and try to take a couple weeks off in between refills.
