IM Hydroxyine?

anyone have experience with IM hydroxyine? how about with opiates?

I hear it's one of those antihistamines that really potentiates the rush, but i imagine on its own it wouldn't be anything special I'm guessing.

Ah, Vistaril, a great subtance indeed.
Of course it is better with opiates, but even by itself is great for me.
Hydroxyzine (Vistaril) is one of the BEST opioid potentiators out there..
All the other ones pale in comparison to this...even benzos and alcohol.
I REALLY wish Vistaril was OTC --- even tho getting a script for it usually isn't that hard...
Any doc should write a Vistaril script.

I've never IM'd it but I have taken apart the capsules and mixed it with heroin plenty of times...Why do you wan to IM instead of IV Mikey? Is there something I forgot to read about this that esplains why it's bad?

Oh OK gotcha...Just glad there isn't something about IVing these that will make you lose your arm or something...ever since that tianeptine video I am ready for anything!

I get hydroxyzine for generalized anxiety. Never really noticed any major effects as a potentiator though there is evidence it does give some potentiatio to any opiates. I take them at night to relax me enough to go sleep and they work usually.

The wikipedia article says that hydroxyzine even helped rats with " learned helplessness". eVEN TODAYS rats have problems that hydroxyzine will fix. :cool:

I was prescribed it for anxiety too but I've never done it orally...I am pretty sure it has to be IV'd in order to notice a decent potentiation effect.

just a follow up.

the hydroxyine was nice. kinda like a benzo feeling got a little rush. i did a 2ml bottle in the thigh. id rather just eat some valium though, not really worth the charlie horse i gave myself from IMing it. it made for a fantasic sleep though (coupled with 80mg oxy). i felt like i was floating on a cloud while lying down.

Hydroxyzine is my favorite anticholinergic by far. you get kind of a diphenhydramine/cyclobenzaprine (but not too heavy) sleep-aid effect plus that nifty benzo-like feeling. I had some that tasted like vanilla, best tasting damned pills I've ever taken. Never tried shooting them - snorting was okay as the extras were mostly just the flavored but fairly light coating and powdered milk. I would like to keep these around for a sleep aid or even generalized anxiety. They may not take the edge off to the degree an alprazolam bar will, but they are really pretty tasty. I wish I'd had opiates to mix them with when I had them.
