It may be a bad idea in most cases, but I think it can be done responsibly. Make sure you somehow ensure you won't eat a shitload of benzos - more than you intended (take out the dose you want, lock the rest up, hide the key, you'll forget where it is). Don't overdo the booze.
Alcohol with benzos is extremely fun - far more fun than either alone.
Keep in mind when you read my dosages that I have a pretty damn high tolerance to gaba agonist drugs ... my doses would probably floor or even maybe endanger somebody with no tolerance - be careful.
4 mg clonazepam, 150 mg oxazepam, 10 mg zolpidem, and 2 and a half shots of 80 proof vodka so far. I'm feeling mild but intensely relaxing effects ... not quite euphoria (opiates and speed showed me what euphoria really is and other drugs just don't have that), but very silly and fun. The rest of my benzos are locked up in a fire-proof safe that my sister has the key for ... this is critical for preventing benzo madness.
Benzos potentiate alcohol like fucking crazy. Opioids are potentiated in the nodding sense by benzos, but not the euphoria sense. With benzos, since alcohol can lock the gaba(a) ion channel open, the effects of the conformation change caused by benzos are fantastically enhanced. Small amounts of booze feel like huge amounts, but more euphoric.
This combo is dangerous, but very much worthwhile if you take some precautions. I'm sure most of you already know this from extensive exerience, but for the newbies out there ... it can be done, and it can be really really fun, just don't be stupid. Have safety precautions in place before you begin ingesting either substances and you'll be fine.
The best thing about this drug combo is that less booze need be consumed to produce the desired fun effects and thus a hangover free drunk can be achieved.
