morphine er for smoking?

The posts ive seen here look to be mostly for IV. If I want to smoke some of my scripted #30 MSER would I need to go through the intense purifying process ive read or could I just crush and go?

I once tried smoking a 100mg MS-Contin. i did notice an effect, but it's more effective to simply sniff it. i don't think you're going to find it worthwhile to make it smokeable unless you're doing 1/4oz or more(1/4oz=70x100mg). but if you're going through that much trouble you may as well acetlyate it at this point.

these days i just slam em tho...
