never heard of it...
interesting.
but I dont understand why this compound might help with addiction?
is it more applicable for chronic pain patients? more so than people abusing from recreational use?

so it sounds like a compound that might aid in weening your dose down....and also, help to reverse tolerance.
"Ibudilast crosses the blood-brain barrier (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood-brain_barrier) and suppresses glial cell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glial_cell) activation. This activity has been shown to make ibudilast useful in the treatment of neuropathic pain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuropathic_pain) and it not only enhances analgesia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analgesia) produced by opioid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opioid) drugs, but also reduces the development of tolerance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_tolerance).[10]" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibudilast#cite_note-9)

It seems Minocycline does the same thing, also I'm seeing that AV411 administered with morphine or oxycodone is resulting in a 3 to 5 fold increase in acute analgesia - this isn't due to an increase in plasma levels or a prolongation of opioid exposure... it's a left-ward shift in the analgesic dose response curve
I'll post more later on.
