There's a thread already about the book but I'm more curious about the newsletter and I just wanted to know if anyone here has a subscription to it and if they are still making new issues or not.
I have the address to order but don't want to send money if they aren't up and running anymore.
The only thing on the net I can find has to do with the book. So that avenue hasn't helped.

It's the thought that counts my friend. At least you went for it.

I read some or all of Jim Hogshire's books. There have been a lot of articles about his fight with the Fed. gov. over the right to tell people about "poppy tea".
He was a member at a late 1990's newsgoup that I read a lot and I have not seen anything written by him in a long time.
At the time his newsletter was being published, there was no web sites like opiophile (and little to the web) so information about pharmaceutical abuse was either transferred in person, by book or newsletter. IMO, if he has a newsletter, surely its on the web.

Liked the book, but haven't heard of the newsletter and I've not heard any of my cronies mention one whilst discussing the book.
I'll ask around.

Yeah well supposedly that's what the book is. It's a collection of stuff that was originally in the newsletter and other stuff.

I THINK the newsletter is out of business. I went to a web site that sells the book and for $2 you can get the newsletter. There is a link to send email, but the site says they don't answer emails. The website is dated in 2002.
The book had some stuff from old newsletters, some history and even some stuff from the newsgroup that the author posted at in the late 1990's.
IMO if they are still publishing a newsletter, they would do it on the web now.
I would post the web site, but don't want to violate any rules. I got it from Google when I googled PAGG newsletter.
