My morning routine consists of a red bull plus about 10mg OC insufflated. This is not meant to get me high but rather start the day on the right foot (8:30 wakeups, I hate 'em). However the combo of red bull + just that little bit of OC really gets me nicely buzzed for about 2 hours. A couple hours later when I redose with just another 10 mg line I do not feel nearly the same buzz (it just gets me well to finish the school day). Later at night Ill usually blow down a 40 and feel really warm and fuzzy, but not quite the same buzz as with a red bull.
Just wondering if anyone else feels that caffeine helps potentiate opiates. Or maybe its just placebo being early in the morning. Or maybe its just waking up that causes different chemical reactions in the brain.

You know, I get the same effect. I've read that caffeine actually decreases the effects of opiates but not for me. It's a great potentiator as far as I'm concerned. Maybe it's an idiosyncratic reaction.

I'm with you guys, I love it. I have always loved coffee and tea though, and I'm so used to caffeine. I still feel it and love mixing with opiates but I could see someone not so used to caffeine getting a different reaction.
Or I could be totally wrong too... IDK. But I feel like it nicely potentiates my mood, energy and euphoria.

I've read about caffeine being a potentiator before. there may even be some studies on it, I'd have to search though. I do remember that caffeine can act as a GABA inhibitor. there are a lot of good caffeinated products out there. tea is great, coffee, energy gum like jolt and mad croc, energy drinks (both alcoholic and non). thinkgeek carries a lot of caffeine products check them out, www.thinkgeek.com (http://www.thinkgeek.com)
and don't forget that tylenol with codeine has caffeine in it.

i think it is a petentiator, but the body "burns" through stuff quicker. at least that's what i remember reading and stuff.
