i have these gellers that when crushed and boiled w/ water will have a liquid lower layer, and a white gell on top. the gel can be moved away from the liquid, but upon cooling the liquid goes to a gel state, and even when done so well that it seems to be as viscuous as water, when injected it often produces a terrible systemic allergic reaction.
sooo...
when a piece of a pill iss added to a sodium hydroxide solution, the gelling matrix does not seem to activate.
my question is: does anybody have any first hand experience with this mixture that they could share so as to save me some time and losses?

ok ppl, NaOH definately does defeat the gel, now i need only create a process that doesn't destroy the morphine... updates pending... advice welcome

Dude you live in Canada, so get M-eslon's which are imho the best morphine pills ever made for injecting takes zero effort and zero use of dangerous chemicals.

good advice, but for the love of science, and for the advantage of making generics usable, i will continue the research.
and, elsons also contain something that triggers an allergic reaction.... pills are just getting worse and worse, soon none will be usable without some workup

ok, that was too fucking easy...
i didn't measure ph initially, so this is just a rought outline. nonetheless, the result is great tasting morphine solution, totally viscuous, containing what i suspect would be simply a small salt contaminate resulting from the neutralization of the basic solution with an acid.
that said, simply boil with NaOH until it turns into a plastic looking dense solid that coagulates or polymerizes into small white chunks, dilute, separate.
squeeze the fluid from this solid, then put the solid into a clean spoon and add water. boil while mixing. dilute and separate the solid from the liquid by filtering.
this basic liquid contains the morphine. adjust to desired ph before using.
Please be carefull, i have yet to try shooting this and advise caution. that said, the taste is fucking bang-on.

I don't understand why the morphine carried through this process in the solid while the ph was so high.... doesn't seem to make sense.
if any chemists can offer an explaination, i'd be very happy to understand this process. thanks

not sure the brand, but they are 100mg, biconvex, '100' and 'N' imprinted on opposite sides, grey/purple in color
EDIT: I just tried to take a second pull from the solid, and it had zero taste, which seems to indicate that the first pull was nearly 100% effective
edit2: since i used NaOH and acetic acid in this process, the only biproduct that SHOULD be present is sodium acetate, which SHOULD be safe to shoot. that said, i am going to give it a try and report back, if there are no problems, i am going to scale-up and try this again using a few hundred milligrams
edit3: sucess, so far. will let ya's know how well the scaled up experiment goes!
edit4: this is very strange... basic solution + pillmass, boiled, at the very point when the solid coagulates and takes the least amount of volume, and is not gel at all, it can be pressed with a knife, the fluid squeezed out of it, and the fluid, seems to be perfectly clear, clean, and at ph 6... maybe this is what will happen every time, hard to say, would be nice if others could verify my results

I usually take these and grind them into a fine, fine powder with a pill crusher. When prepping them I use cold water, as cold as I can get. I have never had them gel on me what-so-ever. I always use a huge cotton that's pre-moistened when I am drawing back. If you have an oral syringe or a TB syringe without the needle I would use that to draw with. If you are unsure about my method, try just a little chunk of pill.
I use cold water on the Purdue, AGB, and Mallinckrodt MS Contins and also the Novopharms and I never have any problem with them. It is possible to get rinses out of these too...I always find though, that if my pill was crushed fine enough, and I stirred it good enough after I added the water that a rinse is pretty much a waste of time.

well, it's a sure thing, and here's the method;
add several small NaOH crystals to a 15ml spoon with 2ml water. boil to dissolve
add the single crushed pill and boil until the gel becomes a solid
when the gel is now a solid, gather it with a knife, and press it together into one clump.
if it still seems gelly, don't worry, just continue heating. if at any point you have doubts, use more heat, when getting the hang of it, you may have to add a little more water. please note that if you have it the right consistency, and then add more water, bang--it's a gel again, no biggie, just use more heat!!!
when it's in one dense, solid, not at all gooey, piece, move it to the end of the spoon, and press out any remaining fluid. set spoon down such that the handle is lower, so as to keep the fluid separate from the clump. be sure that you have it right, this gel is evil shit and causes terrible allergic reactions.
You will know you have it right when the solid is completely non-sticky, and can be handled easily and feels much like a rubber band would if it were a clump rather than a band.
might be a good idea to check the pH a few times before you bank on it being good, but it seems to me that tyhe consistency of the solid, and the pH are going to be directly related and you will likely be able to use visual cues instead of ph papers upon confirmation.
fuck ya... i knew these could be fixed properly, and i doubt any other way would work so well or be so easy.

stackbundles; these pills can't be done by simply adding cold water, they just turn to gel when that is done.
EDIT: hahaha, kind of cracks me up... it took me two hours to crack what probably took a bunch of scientists quite some time to engineer... I am eagerly awaiting confirmation!!!!

it seems to be the same matrix that i have previously seen in 50mg oxy's.
and, i have confirmed, the ph need not be checked, because when you get it right, it lands right on ph 6

owowowowow, son of a bitch, full-on morphine prickles, i hate that.... but at least it wasn't accompanied by the extremely stressfull and very much more painfull allergic reaction that i got the first few times i did these pills.
I suggest that before you do the hit, you closely examine the leftover pillmass by touch to ensure that it isn't the least bit sticky and has the consistency of soft rubber. if all appears as it should, then you can expect a proper, and pleasant hit.
be sure to use a clean spoon. if there is leftover gel-residue, then the solution will dissolve it as it cools, therefore making it part of your hit---bad bad bad.....
so ya. i am prefectly happy with this now. no longer will i be concerned about which brand of pills i get... in fact, as of now, I certainly prefer to have any brand other than the avinzas, which i have had BAD experiences with...
Will this work for Opana ERs?
Opana uses gum to lock in the oxymorphone molecules..

Most every pill has their own make up. Opana ER's are impossible to fix. The old Teva O.C.'s were a headache but you could get something usable out of them, maybe 50% of the drug. Most other pills have a simple technique to get them into a solution. I have no problem with getting a clean, particulate free solution, containing probably 90% of the active ingredient out of 95% of the pills I run across.
I have had problems with the Malli O.C.'s and I have never even bothered with Opana ER's since those are like trying to beat Halo3 on Legendary.
I have yet to run across any M, Dilly, or Oxycodone, with the above named exception that couldn't be fixed.
I won't do a pill if I can't get a clean, usable solution out of it. I have witnessed people shoot all sorts of disgusting madness, such as when they try to put heat to an AGB MScontin and suck up the gelatinous mess into thier fit. Not only is that shit ridiculously gross, but it is mega unhealthy.

Seems like it could work but I would still be worried about the leftover lye in the mix. just seems like a nasty thing to be swimming around in someone's veins(taste like burnding). I would want more then litmus paper to do that test(ph) too probably a pen calibrated is what I would use.

Well, there's only one way to know! of course, that would be to mail me a couple for testing, I'll crack the bitches, no charge even!

I would have to say that this is HIGHLY unlikely. odds are that it doesn't use any mechanism that's anywhere near as complex as those used for pseudoephedrine. I would bet opanas aren't that hard to crack, i would love to try if only i had ever come across them!

no worries, i checked the ph the first few times. provided you only use a few crystals, like we're talking not more than a few mg's, and you get the gel to go solid by boiling for quite a while, the ph will end up below 7.
As for what to use for testing, litmus would be the ideal tool for this purpose and works just fine since we're testing a clear solution. Worry not PW, litmus is perfectly accurate and absolutely suitable for this application.... cheap even!

I think this may help everyone get the best results: when doing this, your goal should be to produce the most compact, non-sticky, and once pressed, the dryest possible ball of gunk... the leftover pillmasss is really the best indicator in this process. if you can get it out, small and dry, odds are you got a great hit waiting for you!
