Oxycodone in Belize

Disclaimer: I just spent about 2 hrs searching the web, and searching this site
All I found was info about paregoric in Belize

I work with a bunch of guys from Belize. A few of them have been telling me that Percocet is OTC down there but I cant find any info to prove it.

Supposedly they are getting a few cases of Perc10s and Roxi's shipped up here for a sick price.

As you can imagine the past few days, I havnt slept much, or been able to concentrate on anything besides this care package.

What do you all think? Should I be getting my hopes up? Or should I just call bullshit and get on with my life?

The little sleep I have been getting pretty much consists of my swimming in an abyss of roxi's :D

I wouldn't believe it until it's in my hands. Hell even then I'd probably not believe it until i tried them and could tell it was real. At least that way you won't rely on it, and won't be disappointed, but if it DOES turn up real, it'll be that much better

I would be skeptical myself. I googled "Belize Drug Laws". Very conservative country.

Homosexual acts are illegal.
It is illegal to possess pre-Colombian artefacts without a permit.
It is illegal to photograph official buildings. You should check with local authorities before taking photos.

Ya never know tho. America has some pretty severe drug laws and look at what goes on. Percocet OTC tho sounds unlikely.

I went down there kicking dope, and was looking hard...and I went all over Belize City--the capital--and all I found otc was paregoric and codeine and "something": I forget what...I would always be really skeptical of these kinds of claims...particularly if there is some money changing hands...Belize to me, is like Nigeria...a totally corrupt society w/a gov't that is a joke...it's also, a bit ominous: bad things happen to tourists down there, and there is a reason they say *not* to wander around...I did, went out at night drinking w/some people, and the street hustlers were very aggresive about "hanging out with me" or trying to get me "go in their boat on a fishing excursion" blah blah...anyway, I wandered over to Mango Creek, and hungout a bit, 'til I ran out of paregoric...there are some beautiful islands and diving and shit, and it's a cool way to go from Mexico down to Belize, and then over to Pto. Cortez Honduras...but I wouldn't trust anybody from there, or anywhere, really, when it comes to these type of claims: if you *could* get perks that easy, somebody would be bringing them back and selling them here...same as Mexico, when the big otc dilaudid myths were going around...

They might be talking about the brand name pain killer neo-percodan which is common in spanish speaking countries in the area, that despite the name is what is known in the US as darvocet.

Just for future reference most central and south American countries and Caribbean countries are not the pharmacy free for all most seem to imagine. Its not as bad as the US, you can often find OTC opiates for diarrhea and cough purposes and codeine or propoxyphene combo pain pills but thats it, more potent meds for pain are limited to IV ampules in hospitals. Pain treatment in these countries is often worse then the US.

So OTC paregoric and codeine linctus YES, OTC fentynal patches or oxycontin NO.

The "something" is usually DF-118 aka dihydrocodeine. I was in a third world country and the only drug I found was DF-118. there was only one hospital in the whole country that had morphine pills or stronger pain killers.

In Cambodia and Thailand, I could get percocet at the pharmacy in some towns. It was totally illegal, but if there's nobody there to enforce the law, there is no law. I only got them a few times - when you can buy opium from any 12 year old on the street, who needs oxy/apap? The only things I bought at the pharmacy there besides the occasional percocet were valium and needles. I was more appreciative that they sold valiums than percs, oh and condoms too, can't forget those!

That said, I still doubt the story. Oxycodone isn't the most common narcotic around, and your fr.iends prob don't know that much about drugs. They know percocet=narcotic painkiller, hence the codeine that's for sale OTC in Belize must be percocet as well.

Agreed...but it take some doing, and often isn't something that is just "over the counter.." But Argentina--where I've actually lived--is the one time that I followed up on what I thought was just another bullshit claim, and it turned out to be true...

But yeah, there's no free lunch, IMO, and if is good, and the wholesalers can get it, then if you get a corrupt pharmacist or doc, u can get something going...I never knew where the Argentine oxys I got for a while came from, really...just one of those things...

But I find, in my own travels, mexico, nicaragua and guatemala, that that it's usually just a myth, or somebody "lucked out" or something...but again, who knows...we had one guy on here--very credible guy--who swears he got some pharmaceutical heroin, I think it was, from some mail order guy...I mean, he *knew* we'd all be screaming bullshit...but I kind of believed the guy...

It's mostly that there's no "sure thing..." You gotta take chances...I've known guys scored even down in Mexico...but I never really did, and I speak spanish, lived there bunches, but they got the right place, the right time and got the dope...hell, I'd probably be dead I ever found a good solid hardcore opiate connection within 1000 miles of here haha...

Best shot always is just to fly down, fuck around a bit, keep ears open, be friendly to pharmacists, blah blah blah...

So yesterday, things were pretty dry. I woke up with only a handful of rox, so I knew Id have to do some serious budgeting....I brought 5 with me to work, and left 6 at home, the plan was to leave myself with 6 for today.....well you all know how that goes...by 9pm last night I was left with only 1 1/2 left.

Decided to take a few ambiens and just go to sleep...only way to fight temptation.
about 10 mins into the Ambien, my lil girl asked daddy to put her to bed.....now dont get me wrong, I love laying down with her, but I knew the Ambiens(and zannies) would kick in pretty quick, and her bed is so fawkin horrible for my back....

Sure enough, Next thing i know, its 345am and I wake up half off the bed, and my back is fkin killing me..(just the excuse I need to eat another:D) Besdies IMO eating a rox as soon as I wake up is the best time to eat em...guessing its because Im so rested, and theres really not too many distractions.

Anyway now its 430 and just as I feared, Im not feelin anything...so fuk it, Ill just lay in my bed completely still, and maybe Ill feel a little numbness....still nothing. now its 5am and I got to start gettin ready for work in a hhalf hour...so my junkie mentality kicks in, and even knowing I got nothing comming thru till 10pm tonight the earliest, I come up with a hundred reasons to justify taking the last half of rox right then...once again....I feel nothing.


SO I get to wrok at 7am, and im already miserable...not kicking miserable....but the mental shit is already starting...all im thinking is "how the fuck am i going o make it 15hrs with nothing!!!

I get my jjobs for the day and leave the office to go meet up with my contractors.

As Im pulling up to my first location, I see dread lookin at me with a huge smile on his face....now im thinking "fuck!!! did this guy hit another sewar main"...he waves me over to the excavator hes operating, tells me to climb in the cab......and there it is.....2 boxesof sealed 100ct bottles...one box of A215's and one of Malis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never in my life was I so happy!!!! Supsodly this is gonna be a once a week thing!!! holy shit!!!
Gonna be a great weekend!

Please dont think Im saying this to gloat or anything like that. Juat wanted to share my story with yall...

OT: If I was a super-suspicious guy, I would say that this had all the markings of a really good scam. A good story about really cheap pills that everybody wants? All you'd have to do, was to post it, and wait for the first couple of saps to contact you, to see if you guys could "set something up".

In my somewhat recent experience, percs are not OTC there. Believe me, I tried. Every fucking where to find something decent OTC.

The pills that came through might have been from Belize, but not OTC. I would hate for people on here to get their hopes up and go down there only to walk away empty handed.

If you go abroad expect dihydrocodeine. You'll barely ever find oxy unless it's mexico. Maybe some countries with big tourism have caught on and sell oxycodone but IMO less developed countries are not very interested in cutting edge pain management.

They aren't dummies down there: if they got oxys or anything worth money, they'd just sell it in bulk and ship it back to gringos anyway...communications--especially computers--means that even backwards countries know which way is up, so it's not like when I was a kid, and you could buy benzadrine and opiates across the counter in Nicaragua...people know the value of a dollar, and they aren't insane enough to just sell oxycontin across the counter, or you'd have plainloads of strungout addicts zooming down there...

Oh. FYI. In many 'third world' countries, white people can write your own script (not legally of course). example. Hydrocodone 10/500 written on a note with a doctor's address in New York. Obviously they don't have that(hydro) so make sure the "doctor" has a substitute on the bottom of hte rx for morphine or Dyhydrocodeine. These pharms aren't gonna try and call your doctor in NY. But the country has to be VERY "third world". Like African countries.
