looking into a canadian scheduled drug resource...and noticed some compounds that while family members of certian controlled substances, are not specifically considered controlled at the level of the similiar compound...
one is levallorphan.....counteracts morphines respitory depression effect, without affecting analgesia of the morphine...is is reported to have certian agonist effects.
then a real cool and interesting compound is cyclazocine..relative of pentazocine..
this drug is a mixed agonist antagonist, more potent that morphine reportedly in some respects, but also a kappa opioid agonist that can cause some side effects that lessen with use....the compound is also reported to have hallucinogenic effects. analogs of cyclazocine have been found to be actually more potent than PCP, and are nmda antagonists, that might have some beneficial effect on opiate tolerance.
