View Full Version : Switching to shorter half-life for kicks.

It's that time, once again... I don't want to quit, but I need to. I watch our 3 kids throughout the week and work odd jobs, but I don't think I could handle a long ass pod kick during this. So a near and dear friend has decided to help my sorry ass out and gave me 30 4mg Dilly's with another 90 or so to come.

The plan is to switch to the Dillys for the next month, rinsing all the residual pod-alkaloids outta my receptors, and kicking the D's only. I'd done this before successfully, using OC's for 4wks... and after 4 days I felt pretty damned good.

Only thing is, since that last kick, I've gotten over a minor needle phobia and have been blasting these D's. But, I'm still a noob at IVing and have a few questions for ya'll...

How many times should I hit a spot before switching to another?

Also, and this may be a silly question, but would IVing these make kicking any harder?
I mean, since it's going straight to the head, will the WD's be more severe rather than snorting a bunch of OC's? I don't think I'll have any problem with any needle fixations... I could take it or leave it, it's just that if I eat or snort a D, I forget I even took the dang thing... don't feel it at all. So I'm just economizing by using this ROA. Being the economical drug abuser I am and all. :)

Welp, hope I can do this and come out on the other side, once again. And sorry to bum anyone out, but I'll still wander the halls of Ophile :D Thanks in advance, much appreciation.

right. shooting dilaudid to kick pods dont seem like a good idea.
its possible that you get stuck on these cause you like the rush
too much. ;)

i'd rather snort or swallow them. only use small amounts to get
you physically well. not to get high.
also you wont need to take them for 4 weeks cause the pods will
be out of your system within 7-10days, after that i would start
lowering the dilaudid dosage.

i hope that makes any sense....anyway good luck.

Thanks for the advice/ concerns guys. I've already begun the switch a few days ago and plan to continue for 3 to 4 wks... only because I've had pod WD's last 3 wks and do not want any hint of it rearing it's ugly head during my detox.

Also, I only have this set amount and will not be able to score any more. Trust me, I've made the preliminary precautions to avoid scoring anything. And I do plan on tapering considerably... but why shouldn't the first few weeks be fun??

I've become an old pro at detoxing myself (and myself only) and just needed these few questions answered. Guess I was a little wired and chatty... gave too much info... but I do get where you're comin' from. Thanks again for yer concern. Take care and be well....

Yeah...120 dilaudid sounds like the most fun taper I've ever heard of.

When you IV your doc it seems like your chances of getting clean decrease dramatically. that's all peeps are saying.

But what you're saying sounds totally legit. If you just want to get all fucked up for 2-3 weeks then kick with less trouble than pods, you've got the tools but once you start shooting dillies every day you just lose the motivation to get clean.

Regarding your question re: IV practice:

I generally hit a spot for as long as I damned can. With East Coast white and most pharms, this can be anywhere from a week to five years. With West Coast tar, three hits seems to be the max.

Always use cleans and alcohol, a bit of pressure on the wound immediately post-shot is good too...

And if you ever fix the pink opanas, be careful of misses. You can't feel that pill at all.

THANK YOU!!! That's all I needed to know, bro... thanks again :)

These D's fade so fast, so I've been waiting at least 4hrs between doses, but that still adds up to a lot of stabbing during the course of the day. Even wake up at 5am jonesin'... shit sucks, shoulda asked for morphine or Opana's. :(

PS: Good to see ya back, HLITL. Hope all is well...

Well. Like HLITL I hit the same spot religiously. But to be safe you should through it up every shot. If you cant switch hands at least change the spot.

Yeh i think shooting will make it harder to taper or WD from but if you taper properly (which is hard as fuck) You might experience minor aggrevation
