Strange WD Symptom

First off, I'm gonna start with some background. My daily habit is about 120-140MGs of OC daily. For the last 5 days I have been smoking about 1 100mcg Fent patch a day. I ran out of patches last night and woke up this morning and took an OC 40. This kept me well for most of the day but towards the end of work I started to notice yawns, wattery eyes, the usual minor WD symptoms. This is where my question comes in, once I was home I tried to lay down and litterly felt like ripping my skin off. The feeling is hard to describe in detail.. I was very restless and my arms felt almost tingly, I litterly felt like clawing my arms till the bled (I didn't) I was very confused considering I have never really had to go though WD, I have always remained consistant. I snorted about 60mgs and here I am 10 mins later and feel fine. Is this a normal WD symptom? I have never really herd anyone talk about it. I was not even sure it was WD until I did some OC and felt better. I was one of the most unpleasent feelings I have ever experienced in my life, I litterly couldn't get to my pills fast enough once it happened. It's strange because it came out of no where. I was in minor WD but all of the sudden that feeling rushed my body. I was just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this, or was it unique to me?

sounds about right... imagine that for 3-4 days straight.

I dunno about clawing my arms... but is it a restless feeling where all your muscles feel like they need to tense up constantly to fight it?

When I really go into W/D it happens just like that. I will have the watery eyes and yawning for half a day or so and then WHAM!! over the period of an hour or two that full blown W/D feeling hits. It lasts for about three days and then slowly starts getting better.

It sounds to me like this might be your first true experience with true W/D. It always surprises me how hard and bad they hit. It is something we like to push out of our minds and forget when it is over.... Thus opening the door to start the cycle again.

I don't think it was really anxiety, I had pills and was just tryin to hold out for a bit on taking some. I was just gonna take a nap, was not worried about dosing what so ever. it was deff just a physical feeling, the muscle thing said above sounds about right. I have been doing about 140mg of OC a day for close to two years (with fent patches here and there also) now and never had to experience WD. I definitely have a new respect for my habit and fear the day I decided to kick. I dunno how I will put up with that for days, I could barley stand minutes. No way I could ever kick with out a good taper at the very min.

I've had that feeling before, it sucks. One night I woke up wanting to jump out of my skin and I started actually hitting my arms against my bed post to releive the "weird awful feeling in them" I felt like ripping them off......nothing a good ol' rail of OC 80 won't fix though.

Once you get all that fent out of your system, and used to your daily dose of OC, you'll be fine.

Fent is so potent, such a strong pain reliever, it jacks up your tolerance like a son of a bitch, and withdrawals off of it are second to none (and thats first hand expierience there), so thats all...

Your just withdrawaling off of the fent because you dont have it (or as much) in your system anymore...

Like I said, get back on track with your daily dosing, and you'll be fine before you know it.

I have had that same sort of thing happen on methadone when I went back to my dope habit on top of the done.... A seven day run and I was sick as fuck even taking my done. Course it was a lot of dope....

But it sounds like a lot of patches that you went through.

Ya, I feel wayyy better.. I'm out of OC at the moment but have been maintaining on pod tea and nothing near as severe has been going on even if I wait 24 hours in between doses. The WD from PT are not pleasant at all but nothing near as severe as the fent WD, that shit was rough. Before I discovered PT there was a couple times I couldn't get my hands on some OC and had to go close to 48 hours without dosing. It was nothing like the FENT WD, I would like to think this would keep from binging next time but I doubt it, lol.

Thanks for all the help, it's greatly appriciated.

Oh, and I have good self control with the PT, I use 1/2 cup once a day and don't chase a high with it at all. I don't need warnings on how nasty the WD is, it's strictly maintance. However, I do appriciate everyone looking out for me.

This is the worst part of w/d in my opinion. I don't so much care about the stomach issues and runny nose.....but this awful restless feeling is simply the worst!

It starts in my joints (elbows, knees) and radiates out up and down my limbs.......

I've done the banging my elbow on the wall thing to try hopelessly to relieve the sensation......no avail.

Try that feeling maximized by a thousand so bad that you are just screaming, writhing in pain, just kicking your legs, and sucking on suboxones trying to make it go away.

That's what happened once when I thought I'd be a cocky asshole and do a "rapid detox" with naltrexone without any benzos, just with some Ondasetron to kill the symptoms (thanks to that stupid fucking study from princeton that says ondansetron kills w/ds it doesn't)

So I took 10mg of naltrexone, half hour later, it was like hells floodgates broke loose. I don't recommend trying it unless you are on a black-out dose of benzos.


On a side note, I was just sucking on a suboxone to relieve my pain, and guess who calls...

I just spit out a perfectly good suboxone. my last one.

Sorry for my poor narritative, the naltrexone event was in the past, months ago.
It took until I got my next fix of that fine off white powder before I stopped feeling the hell from that dose of naltrex. I still have a bunch of naltrex pills sitting around, I stare at them like they're a loaded gun.

On top of that

I haven't had any shit since MONDAY MORNING. I've essnetially quit! I've been eating xanax by the handfuls and taking loperamide in moderate doses.

Last night I thought I'd get some nitrous oxide to help with the w/d pains, so I bought 3boxes of 24 ct whippped cream chargers and went huffing away....

Unfortunately, my dumb ass took a huge hit and stood up, fell backwards, and cracked the back of my head on the floor, leaving a huge lump and some terribly sore neck muscles which also kept me up all night, despite my eating 5 mg of xanax and breathing in 72 lungfuls of fine nitrous oxide.
