The heroin sold in the uk is primarily the base form,but i'm wandering,say you were to convert the base to the hydrochloride(hypothetically that is),and got busted for it,what sort of charges would you be looking at?-i was thinking you couldnt get done for manafacturing,as technically the heroin has already been produced,and as long as you could prove you didnt do that,could they hit you with some sort of refining an illegal substance charge?,also,i'm presuming as long as you werent doing a professional,industrial size job with gangsters queing at your door,and rather doing it for personal use,one test tube at a time,and could persuade a jury it was done with harm reduction in mind,so that you could put as safe as is possible substance and dosage into just your OWN body,and werent profitting from it then maybe you might get off with a slapped wrist? or am i being very naive here-any thoughts?-(ps-again hypothetically speaking,dont have any intentions of actually doing it officer!!!)
