SWIM has 48 hrs to come up with one. SWIM was clean for roughly a year then got drunk and smoked some glass...and pot...and snorted some yay, yuck...stupid stupid

i haven't posted on here in forever, but i come here just to lurk or read a lot..does anyone remember me? probably not, i didn't post that often.

SWIM thinks he 's fucked, but he knows you guys are a resourceful bunch and probably have been in similar situations...

how bad is it to test dirty? if it's real real bad maybe you could set yourself up to get arrested for something that will be dismissed.

That would be a probation/parole violation. Which is not a good thing.


I tested positive on my first test to PO, set me back another $1.5k and a couple years probation along with extended "meetings", WEEKLY tests instead of what was supposed to be "intermittent random" AND instead of going to "class" every other week - I was going every single week for 14 months.

I hate to say it, but it seems like you're up shit creek. Hopefully the levels of drug metabolites in your system will be under the cutoff.

Feel him out for what kind a a man he is, some PO's are fuckheads and you'll get no where, but if he's cool maybe you can tell him you've been straight for that time frame and just fucked up... come right out w/ it. I've gotten out of worse from my PO when I just told him the truth and was truly remorseful about it, of course that is the only get out of jail free card I got and I didn't fuck up again.

Fuck tell him you'll detail his car for the rest of your time....

My probation officer was pretty cool about shit like this. I'd call a day before my appointment or the day of my appointment and get him on the phone. I used a number of different excuses such as no ride, have to work, I'm sick... etc...

My probation officer would always allow me to re-schedule as long as I got in there once a month. I guess some places are much more strict about this.

I think it's worth a try to by yourself some extra time.

Yeah, my PO was cool like that, but another guy in the same office was THE BIGGEST DICKHEAD, he'd send ya to jail for anything.
He loved it, he just waited for a reason...fucking cumsack.

Best advice yet. Are you sure you have to take a drug test everytime you see him? Don't fuck your PO around or you'll definately be taking a whizz quizz or maybe even a hair test. Just drink plenty of fluids and go workout and sweat the coke and glass out. Then drink ALOT of water and take all the OTC shit that helps you pass a drug test the day of the test

Never hurt to call and ask for a later date. You can use your excuse and say "I was hoping......, but if not that's ok". I know its worked before. All depends on the PO. I've seen better results with parole officers than probation.

Also, it depends on where you at.

Probation is a nice way to say "time out for a bit"

If you start thinking you can beat the system, chances are you will for a bit, then....you get caught.....and thats a whole different ball game, and there really are no second chances with probation. Typically a violation means even stricter probation, or jail time.

Thanks for the suggestions! SWIM will probably end up doing what Papa suggested, and if that doesn't work-- pull a Raz :D.

I wasn't trying to throw a pity party, make excuses, or anything of the sort-- I know SWIM fucked up, I was just looking for a way to make the situation a little better.

The paper is getting revoked anyway, for something completely unrelated (something pretty ridiculous, actually), but I'm sure the consequences would be a lot less severe if there weren't drugs floating around in SWIM's piss.
