Is this OC?

My friend just got a bunch of pills, they're white, round, BLANK on one side and split into fourths on the other side, like a 40mg methadone. He gave me five for free and insists they're OC, even though I don't think they are. Anybody know what these are?

I'd say about a quarter inch? They're about the same size as the Purdue OC 40's.

Sounds like CrossTops to me. Speed, epinephrine (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=epinephrine&revid=610935083&ei=wpL-SbK9FpK6tAPT3I3zAQ&sa=X&oi=revisions_narrow&resnum=4&ct=revision). I haven't seen one of those in YEARS, if that's what it is.

All RX and OTC pills in the US should have markings required by law. A pill with no markings could be foreign pill, herbal pill or energy pill, even candy or none of those. There is no way to tell without having a chemist test it for you.

I would disregard the pills it's not worth taking a chance over.


The only exception would be compounding medication which you would want to see it in it's original bottle.

We could be guessing all day long on what they "could" be.

That also sounds alot like Rivotril, 2mg clonazepam, BUT the two brands I've seen, Roche; has "Roche" on one side, the other ones, the Galenika made ones just have a "2" on the opposite side as the scores. But you say they have no markings other than the scores. For what it's worth, alot of drugs made outside of the US have little or no markings. Also, if they were truly oxycodone CR they would not be scored, those CR pills are designed to be taken whole. Cross tops in my day were not speed but they apparently were a mimic of some kind of amphetamine from years before, when I saw them in the early nineties they were lousy old ephedrine. Those pills created alot of speed, though, thats when the red phosphorous, iodine synthesis was going strong. I remember that you could buy them by the thousands from porno mags.

I don't know if this is what you're thinking about but back in the 70s I used to see a lot of speed that were called White Cross. These were pharmaceutical Methamphetamine tabs. There were two sizes if I remember correctly.

I remember that years later a bunch of rip-off companies started selling lookalike tabs that had ephedrine? (not sure) but they were NOT real amphetamines.

They sold those things at the liquor store, in the back of magazines, damn near everywhere. Yes, ephedrine "crosstops".

My uncle told me about the jars of crosstops they used to get in the late 60's and 70's that was speed.

My friend IS an idiot, haha. Which is why I looked around on different pill identifiers and when I came up with nothing I asked on here. Not gonna do anything with them though. If it's ephedrine or anything stimulatory really then I'm not that interested.

No it is not OC. See the sticky in this or the oxycodone forum called oxycodone tablet identification. If there is not imprint (numbers or letters) on it then it is not a US pahrmaceutical. Federal law requires an imprint.

That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I usta buy these by the 1000's in the late 70's. We called them Cross Tops tho. I never saw them at the liquor stores or in the mags. They were/are definitely illegal when I had them.

That was my first thought as well but what about the round 2mg xanax. I know they are round, white, and scored into four quarters, but do they have a marking on the other side?

Yes they do. Also phenergen is crossed like that but also markings.

Now the only pharm version methamphetamine is Desoxyn 5 mg. Desbutal used to have 15 mg of meth/50 mg of nembutal. Damn, I bet that feels nice.
