is it ok to sniff the pills that gel up?

So my bud has these 30's he wants to unload because they gel up and he can't bang'm. I like to sniff oc and I'm wondering if that gel action affects their sniffability.

My experience is that is difficult but not impossible. Pills that gel will tend to gel after you snort them...that is...in your nose.

It sucks, but it sort of works.

What's the big deal? The oral bioavailability of oxy's is so high, that sniffing or banging doesn't really make a difference. Thank the deity of your choice, that your friend doesn't know that much about pills, bitch and complain to him how they're useless since they gel up, buy them cheap and eat'em!

I actually laughed when I read this, this morning...I don't know about you guys, but I've done every home-made disastrous self-destructive drug craziness I can imagine, and if I missed a few ways of inducing drugs to my body--I've had friends who haven't: , from smoking aspirin to injecting mexican propoxiphene, we had to try it, and I can't tell you how many times these clowns would bake up a little home-made crank and pass around an old needle and happily fix together in the pre-AIDs days...

So, as far as sniffing a few pills that gel, my answer would be yeah, sure, *I* did: from jelly old morphine and oxys...hell, that was too boring, so I fixed them too...

I'd suggest he *plug* the motherfuckers in front of a big mirror...that'll get him high :D

I used to snort the Teva OC's and they'd always gel up in my nose. I'd wake up coughing the next morning and a big blue OC/snot loogie would come up then i'd swallow it back down but never felt it

You lucked out because of it though! Those are the 30s that were recalled a while back, they aren't really stocking them in the pharmacies right now as far as I know, unless it just changed recently.

These DO gel up actually. Back in the day before they stopped making them for a while, they were the best ones to IV...simple and no mess. Whatever they have done to them now since they have been reintroduced to the market, has made them a pain in the ass the IV. They gel the fuck up.

anyone snort mallie oc's? they seem to have like an extra layer of goo or "gel"? maybe? though once you get that peeled off along with the coating they seem to crush up ok then to snort. just wondered what ya'll other;s experiences or thoughts were on that one. sorry if this is in the wrong place to post. kinda buzzed.:)

I get the Mallie OC's, which gel up in the spoon whenever I try to bang 'em, but whenever I snort them I've never had them gel up in my nose. I've had other shit gel up in my nose like that (Like the opana ERs and the Teva OCs) but never with the mallies. Why is that?

Amide/Actavis was given FDA clearance to resume proudction so they are out on the shelf again and from what krinov said they must have reformulated them because he had problems with them gelling up when trying to prep them for injection. I haven't tried them yet so I have no idea. I have been getting the bright blue Qualitest/Vintage or the Mallinkrodts. I swallow mine so I dont care what brand they are, all seem to work the smae for me. I actually prefer the Qualitest/Vintage, it's in my head they work better.

Me too. I think they just look "better'" to me...the Mallis are pale, bigger, chalkier and not nearly as shiny. The Qualitest are super shiny, small, and BRIGHT blue...pretttttyyy..
