I would avoid injecting it for the first few times at least. The other ROA's are great anyways, and unless you have ampoules then you can't be sure on the cuts.

Other then that start low and slow and make sure to relax, oh and don't forget to enjoy yourself.

oh shit. i haven't done that in years, but i've wanted to lately! have you ever done dxm? or smoked wet? it's kinda like that. my only advice to you is to just do a little at a time. it's pretty potent unless it's been stepped on. just do a few bumps to get started & it takes a few minutes to kick in. it's been a while, like i said, but maybe 10-15 minutes 'til it kicks. oh, and DON'T drive! hehe. that shit is fun.

God, I've not done Special K in years and years. Last time was in 2002. Anyway, yeah, as everyone said, take it slowly and do very small amounts at first. I would recommend doing a key-sized bump or two, then redose every 45 minutes. Ketamine doesn't last that long. A little longer than coke, but not by much. I used to like to do bumps every 45 minutes or so. And I usually did two to get started, then reduced to one bump at a time when it was time to redose.

Other than that, the experience (for me) was trippy and euphoric. I mean, not trippy as in acid trippy, more similar to DXM trippy, but way more euphoric than DXM. I've never done PCP, but from what I've read, it seems more in-line with that than DXM, even though they're all dissociative anesthetics.

My suggestion would be to prep a room with good music (I always liked drumb and bass on K...anything too upbeat was just annoying to me on K), turn the lights off (but maybe not completely off. If it was totally dark when I was on K, it kind of freaked me out, especially if I was in a K-hole), so maybe just dim them, and then have somewhere nice and comfortable to lie down. If you don't do too much, I also always thought it was fun to walk around, or at least try to walk around. It's very robotic and kind of like watching old people on a shuffle board. You will shuffle, kind of like you're walking with a walker, but of course there's no walker.

But, yeah, I used to love that stuff. If I had to rate my top three drugs, it would either be opiates, then coke, then Special K; or opiates, then Special K, then coke, depending on my mood at the time.

Good luck, do a small amount, and find somewhere comfortable to lay down and enjoy.

Edit: Also, whoever mentioned the don't IV thing at the beginning is very correct. I wouldn't recommend that for someone who's new to Ketamine, but if you do do it, reduce the dose, otherwise you'll end up in a K-hole before the needle comes out. Aside from IV'ing, IM is supposed to be better / more intense. Never IM'd K, just snorted it, but that's the impression I remember from hearing people talk about it.

I'm a bit too late btu 30mg is a good starter dose. Make sure you aren't drunk as the combined nausea can be pretty shitty. A k-hole dose (the threshold at which you won't be able to function and have to lay down and ride it out) is between 80 and 100mg if it's pure. Make sure you work your way up to that dose if you're new to it and be prepared for astral travel and telepathy if you're doing it with friends. Damn I love K!

I have never tried K, but I think it would be pretty fun. I have also read the start low, which is like a lot of other drugs but you've been given some good advice here. I hope it goes well for you, have fun!

Ketamine is kind of weird. I never cared too much for it by its self. at a functional level the buzz is just not real pleasant to me. A K-Hole is something altogether different. It has been a decade since I have done K but I gotta say everyone should be K-Holed at least once in their life. That is an out of this world experience.

My first K hole was accidental. I had my K in a little envelope somewhat like an east coast stamp bag, and I was just kind of maintaining a buzz by sticking a straw into the bag, pinching most of the powder so I would only sniff a small amount, and tooting away. This worked well cuz it was dark. . . .

Well, I opened a new bag, stuck the straw in and forgot to pinch, so into my nose went the whole bag.

I was right in the middle of a high school grad party on a beach of the Delaware river. Well, within a couple minutes I was laying in the sand with the party going around me, but I visited that other dimension that is known to all who have been drawn into a K-hole.

It was something to be remembered, that is for sure. Kind of like a good hit of Salvia Divinorum in it's complete and total breakdown of the ego and reality, yet not harsh or comparable to salvia in any other way. It is just one of those things thata can utterly remove you from reality.

I found K to make a better "sauce drug" than anything else. A K-hole was too non-functional for me. Doing bumps of K was ok, but nothing to write home about. But I found that doing bumps of K while on acid or especially Ecstacy was fantastic. Especially the E. Oh God.... the first few times I did that combo were quite possibly the most divine moments of my life. That mixture actually made the E into a true hallucenogen, which it never was for me in any other aspect. but I got visuals with that mixture.

And K with Acid......whew! Buckle your seatbelt!


Oh well...... Now I am all nostalgic and shit. That brought back memories of growing up in NW New Jersey. That was the only nice part of that armpit of a state. Hmmm..... Fireflies, Field Parties, And Drug Cocktails..... Good Times!!!!

happy sailing, i'm more than a little envious of you. i mighta missed something in your post or forgotten who you are, you got a dope habit on top of this or not?

other than pot, this is this only drug i really feel my lifes missing out on cause of my bad guts, i cant imagine anything more interesting than dxm used to be (without the panic of psychedelics).

ive read about more than just a few isolated cases of ketamine-induced Interstitial Cystitis or whatever. it's only happened in cases of real heavy use, but given the similarity of their symptoms to my DXM-induced gut problems, i've always wondered if ill ever be able to try k without flaring up my condition even worse.

thanks for all the advice, i was just doing small bumps all night with some friends, I didn't want to do a lot because I was really browned out and I also wanted to save some for today:) I want to get into a K-hole and I think I have enough... now I need some help from my opiophillic friends, IV or IM and if so, how? I know other posters said to wait a few times before you take it into the needle, but I saw how powerful it can get last night, and rather than having the same somewhat blunted experience, I want to go for the gold, and since this, being a harm reducing website, I'd like to do it the safest way possible :Dthanks for the help in advance

I would only do it in the needle with pure product. (Or by pure, I mean in the original bottle).

I've purchased a few 10cc bottles over the years (But many years ago). And the IV rush is increadibly intense. And it's amazaing how little it takes.

The first time I would recommend no more than 5 ius. DO NOT do more than 10 for the first time or you'll end up passed out with a needle dangling. And when you work your way up, do it ONE IU at a time. Im serious, the shit is no joke IV'd. As another poster stated, it is not more intense IM. IV Ket is about as intense as an IV coke rush. A little less so. But still big.

I snorted it, and had a really pleasant experience. The altered sense of perception was enjoyable for me.

I just felt fucking goofy all day, like the come up of any straight psychedelic, laughing and thinking up crazy scenarios, but I never had any visions, or never fell into the "hole" even after booting it all in the end, I did like the anesthetic feeling though, it felt like Nitrous subdued MDMA in a second hand position for me to hand feed my brain as I wished,& it did take away all logic, I was running on pure animal instinct, I still feel a little spaced and worn out, cigarettes seemed to me like a task that I had to finish than one I wanted to, every position I sat or lay in was a pool of velvet shadows, tried to translate my experience into music but I didn't get very far...

I don't know the logistics behind it, I haven't had Ketamine in over 5 years. Back when researching every drug known to man I learned about it. I can look and see if I can find some information about it.

I dunno either. And Im not saying it's 100% false, but I've done both, and with any other drug I've ever tried, it isn't even close.

The only thing I can see a + on, is that IV Ket is over WAY quick.

If any of the health professionals see this please chime in,f because IV was WAYYY more intense to me.
