Affidavit Question

alright so SWIM had a search warrant served and the search warrant had stuff on it that obviously wasnt true, thinking that the probable cause was total bullshit s/he went to the police station to get a copy of the affidavit they used to get the search warrant and the officer stumbled around his words for a bit and then said "i dont think we can give that to ya for 45 days" does anyone know if this is true, or are the police trying to buy time from SWIM to identify that the search was illegal.
