What does it mean when a website selling pills advertises the tablets as having no binders of fillers? Is that ever possible for a pressed tab to not have any? I they would have to be capsules filled with powder.

I got this question from this website selling 8mg Kaizen ephedrine tabs: http://www.ephedrineforsale.com/Ephedrine-8-mg--50-tabs-Kaizen_p_22.html . Check out the bottom where it says"Each tab contains 8mg pure ephedrine hcl with no binders & fillers. 50 tabs per bottle" Is this just a marketing gimmick or do these Kaizen tabs actually contains nothing but 100% pure ephederine which i think would think be very surprising for obvious reasons.

I mean, there are obviously inactive ingredients in the pill, as the pill obviously has a mass greater than 8mg. And, as far as I understand it, a pill must have binders to keep it pressed? It could be just all binder I suppose with no "filler" (but then the binder would be a filler, lol) so I just don't see how this is true.

Anyone else?

I have found another website with the same product and they state the same. Maybe they're mistaken about them being tablets and they really are capsules with pure ephedrine power.... but 8mg would be a tiny amount of powder i'd imagine.

Hmm....well that's curious. There has to be some sort of binder or filler, or it's a capsule. An 8mg pill would be so small it would be impossible to work with.

Sounds like bullshit, or they're talking about capsules. Indy has a very good point, and every pill needs some sort of binder to hold them together...

I smell meth. Be careful, buying a lot of ephedrine that might be a red flag.

The purpose of fillers is to 1) hold together stuff that wouldn't hold together on its own, and 2) to make the pill big enough to handle. For some drugs the filler serves both purposes; for others, only the first; etc. Not sure if ephedrine actually needs binders to hold together, but 8mg of anything is going to very tiny, especially considering that it will be compacted into a dense solid.

Whether or not the source is legitimate is another question. Make sure you do your research and get as close to "solid proof" as you can on this kind of thing by reading some forums. And def don't order a lot of ephedrine... that shit is the scourge of earth as far as lots of law enforcement is concerned, and they'll show no sympathy.

My guess is it is NOT mixed with Guafensien or other sinus meds. Most of the epedrine pills I see at gas stations are mixxed with something else.

In my state, they just arrested a bunch of people for buying more ephedrine than they could legally have. (The amounts were very small -- a few hundred tablets). I think is used in illegal manufacture of other drugs and many states have laws placing stiff restrictions on its purchase and sale.

If someone ordered much of this stuff I bet the police would pay them a visit to verify what it is being used for.
