The "Social Groups" forum: a suggestion..

HIYA sorry to be pesty agin'. Got some suggestions for the wonderful "Group" forum area.

Is it possible for there to be a "reminder" function, such as what we have to remind us of new profile messages, friend requests, etc? Like "1 new Group message".

I thought of this because I can't even remember to check the messages in the group I made; my fault cause I'm a space cadet. Still, I can see where this will be handy for other spaceheads like me.

However I know this will take alot of work to accomplish, and I totally respect and appreciate how our forum is anyway. :)

You can subscribe to a discussion in a social group. Once you're subscribed, I *think* you can request email notification whenever there's a new post.

To subscribe to a discuss, go to that discuss, and in the upper right hand corner of the screen, you'll see "Discussion Tools"–click there and you'll see "Subscribe to Discussion" or something similar. Click on that and you'll be good to go.

Oh I forgot about that. Personally for me its confusing because I have a separate email address, for like, everything and I forget which one has what (i.e., forgetting to check my subscriptions). Still that is handy and I'll try to intergrate it in somehow. Thanks for the reply.:cool:
