Hydrocodone/guaifenesin

I felt sick today so I went to the doctor and he gave me Hydrocodone/guaifenesin. The bottle doesnt say how much hydro is in each dose. Is this stuff similar to tussionex? It is by ethex labs.

Most narcotic cough suppresants contain five milligrams or less of hydrocodone. There are a few exceptions, the most notable being Tussionex, which contains 10 mgs per/ml. It also contains 8 mgs of chloriphineramine (sp?). I have an old bottle of Vicotuss at home. It contains hydrocodone (duh!) and guaifenesin in it. 5 mgs of hydro per ml in that stuff. My mom recently got sick and was prescribed another cough syrup that only had 3 milligrams of hydrocodone in it per teaspoon, so it varies widely. The Tussionex is the best stuff out there. My doctor won't write it, though. He says that the stuff has too much hydro and chloriphenaramine in it. It will knock you on your butt, especially if you aren't used to taking the shit, but for someone who has taken opioids for as long as I have, well, I think he is worrying for nothing.

There is no brand name for tussionex atleast non i have ever heard of. Tussionex is Tussionex. However you can get things that are similiar. Also, about the post above. Tussionex contains 10mg hydrocodone per 5 ml. If it were per ML there would be A LOT of happy people out there right now lol. (8mg chloriphineramine per 5ml as well).

yeah for awhile there i had access to the shit and was chugging it.. for some reason tussienex didnt do as much as the vicotuss, which doesnt make sense.. anyway if you're chugging large amounts of vicotuss you'll get diarrhea from the guanifensnsensnin but it's worth it
