Gakks in Codeine tabs to prevent demethylation????

Hi there this is my first post and id like to say hi and that the info ive read on this forum has been very informative. The info on codeine extraction has been great and i plan on doing an a/b extraction on codeine soon-once i get the proper chems and supplies. The cold water ext. is fine for a nice glass of juice but it doesnt to a hell of alot for me. Anyway i want to do the ole homebake h someday but i have read that they are now putting gakks in the codeine pills to prevent the demethylation process. Has anyone heard of this or more specifically what gakks they are and how to get rid of them?

Well it depends on where youre from. I reckon you're a brit or aussie, am I right? If so you don't have to worry about the new codeine gack, Im only aware of the USA using the new anti-homebake pill formulas, maybe new Zealand if they produce their own codeine. In the new pills they use a ion-exchange resin, and sodium lauryl sulfate as an anionic surface agent along with the regular polymer celluloses, Im not aware of anybody who has cracked this new formula but I havent heard of anybody even finding these new pills. Just check the non-medical ingredients on the monograph if the above elements aren't stated you shouldnt have to worry.

Thanks for the reply. Im actually a canuck and i know that they are supposed to print all ingredients on the label here, its just that someone on another forum said they heard about these gakks to prevent the 'Canadian homebake'. Its law here to put everything on the label and i havent seen anything but acetaminophin/aspirin, caffeine, and codeine. I was just wondering if maybe anyone had heard of these 'secret' gakks.

Anyway, the homebake sounds cool although the chems seem hard to come by and the girlfriend is scared im gonna blow myself up lol. Im looking at poppy growing now and the wifey is even up for that one cuz shes a super green thumb and loves to grow shit.:D

oh, you threw me of with the "Cheers". Well allthough they don't list non-medical ingredients on most of the AC&C's and tylenols, you do have the right to that information, so when you go to the pharmacy since you have to ask the drugist for the pills anyways specify that you want the monograph with the non-med ingredients listed.

what are you talking about? what are they doing to painpills now??? im in the usa and i know theyre always upto no good trying to nazi peoples drugs/freedomes whatever.....and what are AC&C's??? ive heard of these but what are they equivilent to here in the usa??? im in eastern ky and so many imbred idiots here have coined the phrase "hillbilly heroin" and made the whole country focus on painpills....ive lived all over the states and never saw such a communistic way of behavior when it comes to painpills....the state of ky has also made a new "no mailorder meds" law......

I think they are talking about these 8mg codeine/acetaminophen tablets you can buy over the counter in Canada (maybe can buy in Australia too) - "GAKKs" are ingredients that the drug companies put into the tablets to make it impoosible to do an extraction on a large batch of these 8mg codeine pills and concentrate the codeine. When people do that they could end up dying, and you know what happens then? They SUE the pill company. A lawyer will claim that it is NOT the fault of the poor junky who was doing what they should not have been doing, instead, the filthy lawyer scum will claim that it's the DRUG COMPANY'S fault for even thinking about making the product. The company gets sued for all they're worth, and then, that's right, you guessed it - no more drug company.

So, when they put these extra funky ingredients in dope pills - they are doing it here in the USA too - like abuse-proof oxy's and other types of dope - you can blame the LAWYERS who are fucking ruining this country and everywhere else.

If you choose to engage in risky behaviors, you only have yourself to blame.

Having said that - I'd love to be able to get my hands on some of those AC&C tablets so I could do a cold water extraction! (everything I just said is a figment of my imagination):D

I can buy these shitty 8mg codeine, 300-500mg acetaminophen, 15mg caffeine in a tablet bullshit pills. Does anyone know if they have a variation that DOESNT CONTAIN CAFFEINE! I fucking hate caffeine it is the shittiest drug in the world and it gets me wired and makes me feel like i'm going to die. It reminds me of when I used to do meth and ecstacy for some reason so avoid it like i avoid martha stewarts genital warts.

Is there some way to extract the caffeine as well? If there is, in a dream, i would like to demethylate some codeine into morphine. So anyone who knows please share with me and the rest of us.

Haha va, i got bored of drinking coffey so i used to rack up lines with coffey and suger and snort lines of the stuff. Got me wired and was a good party trick, also tasted fucking ace with the suger, meltdown to die for in the back of my throte. off topic but hey, im random.

yeah its a no mailorder pain med/nerve med law.....its fairly new, about 5 months old and its really affecting things around here....the pawn shops are filled to capacity....causing "pawn shop inflation"....theyre paying less and less for your stuff because they have so much from all the dopesick people around here selling off their things to buy dope/pills whatever on the streets here and hookups are charging somethings DOUBLE for their services....i know we get NO SYMPATHY from anyone who doesnt understand addiction, but im telling you people here because i think maybe someone out there can relate to this somehow....
