Does anyone else agree that discussion about copping, in a specific location, tied to a request from one person to the other, permanently entered into a drug forum, is an absolutely terrible idea? I mean, not just for the inquirer, but for the people discussing it and for the board as a community?

Agreed! It makes people paranoid that you are LE and trying to acquire evidence or leads and at the very least you are incriminating yourself and leaving an open invitation for others to follow. It gives the board a bad image: this is not a shooting gallery or a flop house, it is a source for information and discussion only. I, and I don't believe I'm alone on this, am getting pissed off at how many PMs I am getting from new members that I have never even spoken with soliciting me for sources. All I have to say, if you guys aren't LE, your not following the forum ettique... scroll up "The solicitation of illicit drugs or prescription pharmaceuticals is forbidden."

You're not alone there Chem; I received several weird, solicitous PMs a few weeks ago. When I posted something about it (I can't remember in what thread) and bitched a bit, they stopped. But it was kinda disturbing nonetheless. And I found it offensive as well.

I've just returned from a couple of days away from the board (moving) and I've noticed a few strange threads initiated by new(er) posters. I'm not gonna single anyone out, but I would think that if you're interested in joining the board and go through the entire registration process, you'd at least take a moment to read the user agreement (in fact I recall that you had to click an "I Agree" button when registering).

I know when I first found this site, I lurked around for a few days to get a feel for it and to determine if it was something I wanted to be a part of, which included reading the rules and FAQs. Seems to be the sensible way to go about it, but hey, just my opinion...

I was trying to form a list in conjunction with some folks living high atop the trust meter but I refuse to be the leader of a witch-hunt and that's where an idea like that could end up. I dont want to be that guy but Ill send what we got already with the corresponding PM's or post that gave the suspicious feeling....I could never be a cop. It makes you feel all slimy to take judgement of others to that level. I need a shower anyway fuck it.
