Anybody care to guess how he actually got busted? Seems like it's pretty easy to smuggle small amounts of drugs through the airport. I've never been caught. Maybe he just looked "cracked out"

I didn't read the article, but as one addict thinking of another, I feel bad for the cat. I remember his first album, must have been '90 or '91. There was some pretty good work on it actually, and one track in particular I remember pretty well: it was a very emotional and honest rap about losing everything to crack and breaking his family's heart. It felt true. When that album dropped he was clean, so he was talking about the bad old days on that cut. That makes at least 20 years of the battle right there.

I haven't listened to anything he's done since. He probably made a bunch of wack commercial shit, idk, but I can still empathize. And unless it's some utter weeping anal sore of a person like Rush Limbaugh or Cindy McCain, I don't like to hear about anyone getting popped for drugs.

aahhh Big Brother! I know it is summer time here in the US when Big Brother is on tv. The American version isn't quite the same as the UK version as I understand it - the UK version sounds better and there are minor celebrities that appear where as here they pick very ordinary people and then throw in one or two bad apples to spice the place up. Guilty pleasure of mine as far as tv shows.

As for Coolio - I remember his album from back in the day, and I assume the money he made on Ganster's Paradise has afforded him some luxury in life or at least back then. It is strange to see people in the public eye going from big heights to things like this, then I remind myself they are just normal people that have all the same battles and struggles as everyone else. I liked his hair more than the song - but I do think that movie Dangerous Minds did so well because of it.
