Oh my fucking hell. Words fail me to describe this sub human waste of flesh.
Looks like the kitten is doing well. May she find a loving home like mine and be pampered for the rest of her days.
Side note: I fostered a cat that one of my street kids had been forcing to inhale pot smoke several time a day for her 2 years of life. Took Isis about 2 weeks to come out from under my bed and play once she detoxed. My Dad is a veterinarian, and when I called him he researched MJ versus kitty & said there shouldn't be any long term effects. There didn't sem to be - Isis did pretty well w/o pot!
I have to admit, I have gotten my dog high before by blowing smoke in his face, but it was just a couple times...I don't see any long term effects, however I definitely did not do it daily.
I think that's totally different though than actually putting the animal inside of the bong (btw, how the hell is this even possible?). That to me is just .... ugh...sickening.
Here's the picture of the bong:

This guy does not deserve to be breathing anymore.

with this media exposure...
I forsee a beatdown coming if this this guy has to do any time.
I remember a case where a neighbor video taped a guy killing a puppy.
the neighbor made several copies, called the cops with the evidence, and gave the local news station a copy as well.
the guy made it to jail just in time for the nightly news. and he wasnt initially seperated into protective custody.
apparently he was passed around for a time, getting the old beatdown administered.
this guy has some hard lessons ahead.
poor kitty.
I dont know what it is about small animals and some people.
I can understand small kids not knowing about how to treat small animals, especially when unsupervised, there is a learning period....but this guy is well beyond that.
the couple probably couldnt handle the new kitty.
I have seen it before....one person isnt so inclined towards cats...but they get a kitty anyway, soon that kitty is buggin the hell out of them. and without enough attention, the kitty is left to discipline and amuse itself.
so the guy gets the smart idea that subjecting the animal to smoke inhalation and lack of oxygen is the perfect answer.
idiots.

I used to get my cats high when I was young. I thought they actually enjoyed it. The only thing they didn't like was smoke. I don't think I subjected the cats to undo stress, like restraining them in a damn box. They just ran off and slept.
What an asshole, why would you even do that? "HURRRR IM GONNA SMOKE MY KITTEN LOLOLOL".....the sad part is i've heard people talk about shit like that just LIKE that.
sorry to offend any stoners, i know you guys aren't all like this guy, but i have met stoners like that (back when i didn't want to smoke weed stoners were everywhere, now they're extinct)

In a perfect world, stupidity would harm only the stupid, and not innocent animals. That cat has no idea what this small, hot, difficult-to-breathe-in space is meant for - all it knows is that it can't run, and it's owner seems complicit in it being trapped there. What a horrible fucking thing to do, regardless whether it has any health effects on the cat or not.
Picture yourself at the mercy of some enormous creature with no ability to communicate ideas between each other, and imagine how you'd feel about him stuffing you into a coffin-sized container that then fills with smoke.. Christ, the more I think about it the more upsetting it is.

words fail me. even in hs i used to get mad when people would laugh at how they blew smoke in their pets' faces to get them 'nice'...the most fucked up think i've seen was a pit puppy brought into my shelter- she ate 'two' hits of x that fell on the floor (i think it was more) poor thing was completely psycho two months later, her pupils were permanently dilated- owners claimed it was an accident and really did seem contrite, but still- who's that careless with their beans?? the original owners actually came back and adopted her, i see her around the neighborhood (2 years later) she's still insane- poor dog. my only complicity in animal cruelty was smoking dust in some girl's basement studio- we were so fucked up we gathered around her boa's tank and were trying to figure out if he was high, and how to handle it...

Yeah, with this worthless piece of shit, it's not just the regular, but enraging, practice of blowing weed smoke in a pet's face. He stuffed his kitten into that coffin and hotboxed it. Did you check the size of that box?! That is utterly vile. I agree that he's probably going to have a very rough time in jail. And every time he gets a bruise, slice or, hopefully, broken bone, a little bit of me will laugh inside. Motherfucking piece of shit asshole.
Hopefully, that kitten will be rescued by someone full of love and compassion and will live a beautiful life. I actually have a cousin in Lincoln who knows an unholy number of guys who live in and out of jail. Wonder if he'll be able to give me some updates once this asshole is inside.
How sad - I can't really say much that hasn't already been said, but man - one word : "Why"? People sure do some really idiotic things in this world we live in, and this, my friends, is definitely an example of such theory.

this is the kind of crap that keeps drugs illegal. fuckin moron, there is a big difference between blowing some smoke toward your cat or dog and what this idiot did.

Anyone who gets an animal high has a screw loose... so haters, let it rip! I really don't give a shit if I get flamed, I have to get this off my chest.
I know people who put their kitten in a pillowcase and blow weed smoke in- daily. Then wonder why the cat is a complete psycho?
Animals don't understand being "high"- and I wouldn't be surprised if it scares the hell out of them, depending on the high, ya' know? It's one thing to get a little mellow and sleepy- it's quite another to be zonked out of your mind and not know why.
Leave the fucking animals alone!
Hrmph...... thank you for listening.

animals do get high on their own sometimes http://www.cracked.com/article_17032_7-species-that-get-high-more-than-we-do.html I've known a few cats and dogs that had gotten into stashes of cannabis and ate quite a bit with no ill effects. and I've read about water buffalo in vietnam or cambodia eating opium poppies. some animals absolutely hate being around smoke of any kind, and some come around when they smell it, and since cannabis is not toxic I don't think it is cruel to puff a hit or two toward an animal if it likes it. but nearly suffocating an animal is definitely cruel.

I really like the way a pot plant looks. I don't smoke, yet I had a few gorgeous plants...purple grandfather or something like that. While tending to it one day I saw that some of the leaves were missing. Not all of the leaf, just half. A couple weeks later I saw our cat playing with the plant and when the leaf got low enough the damn cat ate it. Jackson would eat a few leaves and then go to sleep.

my daughter bit a cats tail last night
and then when it started to run, she was still holding onto the tail
so she fell down right on kitty then started screaming in its ear
what was i doing? laughing hysterically (no one got really hurt, just skeered)

What was the point in posting this...?
Yes I already know were you stance is on animals no need for long speeches but I have no clue how this story relates to what the original poster posted.
I'm curious what you would have done if the cat turned around and bit and scratched your daughter up? Would you have still laughed?

i'm guessing the child was little so it probably only startled the cat.
i also doubt that she'd be laughing if the cat "scratched the child up"
that seemed like a harsh response.

My whole point is what was the so called "thats my cat story" really does not seem to make since with the fact that someone shoved a kitten into a bong and proceeded to smoke from it.
Also if you have seen many of her other responses pertaining to her view on animals you would understand my harsh question. Yes I know kids will pull on animals tails and parents correct the child behavior (most parents).

I hate the way a lot of children treat animals. I can't help but giggle when the brat gets what they deserve, a scratch or a little snip.

i posted it because it was the most interesting thing thats happened here in a week
and i'm very very very very bored
plus, isn't it refreshing to hear something besides 'oh how awful, i love cats so much"
i don't think you know "my stance on animals" i have four dogs and a cat and i love all of them
i b'leve you've met my stance on whining and making a big deal outta nothing tho :D
no, it had nothing to do with the op
and it wasn't the first time a thread went off topic either
if the cat had scratched her a lil, it still would have been funny
just funny with a bandaid
also this cat (my cat) is declawed (not by me, she's a rescue kitty) so it wasn't really a danger
and when something like that happens, you got two choices
you can get all worked up over nothing, or you can laugh
and my kid is 5 fucking months old, how much can she hurt a cat that weighs more than her?

Fucked up....... Sad thing is that there are lots of stories of animal abuse occuring every day....... Seriously we could post a story about some dog getting killed by its drunk-ass piece of shit owner, or whatever, every day.... but that would be too depressing.............. Humans can be a sorry sorry lot....
