This guy I know, when he gets coke usually just smokes it off of tin foil. Well, he has decided that this is probably a monumental waste of product and has decided to make some free base.

He has smoked freebase before but has never actually made it himself. He would like to have a simple recipe to make it work and not waste a lot. He is currently in Africa, and on a phone call said that Baking Soda would probably be the most likely method. Some basic simple instructions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, he also doesn't have a microwave so he will have to use an open flame or some other means.

The easiest way to make freebase - sprinkle about a line's worth of coke on some foil. Put like 1/4 as much baking soda on top of it.

Dip your finger in some water and use the water to spread the coke and baking soda around and mix them together on a part of the foil.

Heat it slowly until you hear the characteristic "cracking" sounds that gives crack its name. When left with a yellowish substance on top of the foil, this is crack cocaine (a type of cocaine freebase, you can also make it using ammonia/alcohol). Heat it gently and inhale the vapor. If he decides he likes it, better crack recipes are available on the net.

If he wants to take the risk of shit blowing up in his face, he can also find a recipe for true freebase (the method w/ammonia + alcohol)

this is just my experience and .02... i have never been able to rock up a lil amount, i never knew anyone that could. its much easier when done with a large amount. everytime i had ever done it with less than the black ball on a pool table it all ended up in the trash. it takes a lil time to get it right. but as said above you only need the 3 ingredients a cooker, i always used the bottom part of a soda can, and some patients and skill.

and my .02 w/ forming judgement.... i found it to be like taking the step from smokin opis to bootin opis. one i based it, up the nose was never appealing or desired again. fortunately i was able to walk awy from it after about 3 months. however, a few friends of mine werent so lucky. there lives took a wicked 360 in a very short amount a time.an ugly addiction thats hard to beat. i have never touched it again since walkin away from it 10-12 years ago. i just tell you this because if you have kids and/or wife, gf, bf, etc. becareful. im sure you know all this and yer gonna do whatchya wanna do, but i lost 3 very close friends, two of which are now in prison for life, and one i couldnt tell ya if he was dead or alive. ive never seen something consume someone so quickly.

I agree with everything you said. I always tried to rock up small amounts and I could never get it right.
It always ended up being garbage unless I used good amount (like at least 3.5).

Yeah I totally agree with you. Swim has no desire to snort it anymore, but SWIM never really thought that snorting was that good of a high.

Hell, even better, cocaine whether it's freebase or what have you has never been all that desirable to SWIM. He'll do it sometimes, but by the end of the night is asking himself why he even started fucking with it.

Small quanities can be made using a shot glass, test tube, or even cooked right in a spoon; just be sure to wash. Do a quick Google search and you will find EXACT info on amount and stuff. Of course this is only what I have been told, I knew nothing about Cocaine, Crack, or Freebase Cocaine.

Crack is made with baking soda. Freebase also called Drop, at least around these parts, I'm told is made with ammonia or ether. I have been told that you can tell the difference by the way the rocks burn, crack never burns right, it seems to need higher temps and makes that familar sizzle noise when heated. Freebase (drop) melts into oil with very little heat compared to ghetto crack and doesn't make that sizzle noise when burnt. I also heard that when re-cooked in water rocks made with baking soda will foam up when heated and the baking will precipitate in the bottom of the spoon leaving a blob of oil on top of the water. If you re-cook a rock made with ammonia it takes very little heat to form the oil "blob", it doesn't foam up nor will there be baking soda left in the spoon and just a nice blob of oil, really does not need re-cooked. Freebase is far superior and efficient compared to regular crack made with baking soda. Of course this is all what I have been told, I have no personal experience with crack, cocaine, or freebase. Fuck cocaine!!
