Hey opiophile!
I rarely make threads but thought that this is thread worthy;
I'm stabilized on about 2-3mg of suboxone (bupe) daily. A small amount, yes, but still necessary. On thursday I took about 2mg in the morning and 1-2mg later in the evening (was starting to feel sick). Friday I was generally well, until about 3pm. I was able to function, work and such but around 3 I started to feel the cold sweats, started yawning more frequently, stomach started to turn a bit. I mean it wasnt that bad, but I am trying to give you an idea of my tolerance and metabolism. Friday (yesterday) night, I did a bun of some decent east coast shit. I was up until saturday morning, and did my last shot at 6am. its now almost noon on saturday, and I am wondering when I should take my sub dose. I'm not feelin sick yet, as I did that dope at 6am this morning and, a bundle is a lot for me (dont usually do that much in such short span).

I would imagine there is still some background bupe on my receptors but, I am no pharmacologist (study of meds, i think).

When would be a safe time to take my subs? I had P w/d's before and it was hell. Never want to go through that again.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance!

Edit: Just wanted to mention that I did search and use ultimate sub guide. I was just hoping that an advanced understanding user would be able to give me a more user-specific response.

Go as long as you can. I would at least go 12 to 18 hrs. Though going as long as you can...can have drawbacks. what if you think about a notter bun? Not much help I know...just wanted to post. gl

Do not smoke 3 boxes of fentynal in 3 days:mad:

you dont think I have some residual bupe left in my system, that would make it like resuming my schedule as opposed to 'first dose' type shit?

When I was on bupe I did the stop and start thing alot and I think you would regret not waiting at least 12-18 hours. 24 would be better but its hard to wait I know. The thing that I had trouble with is I would talk myself into thinking I was already sick just cuz I had yawned once or twice, then I would take the sub too soon and go into wds. The longer you wait the better you will feel when you finally do take it. Also, I found that the bupe didnt deem to work as well the more times I switched back and forth and I would end up having to wait longer and longer each time I did it. I know that sounds odd but if you search around you will find that alot of people say the same thing. Good luck

When I was doing dope, my rule of thumb was 12 hours after my last use.

But to be sure, it's usually best to wait 'till you know you're feeling WDs. You'll know....

I am stabilized on a bupe dose very similar to yours. I take my sub in the AM every day, and then I use my DOC (oxy, morphine or H) a few times a week, typically around 12-1AM. I take my sub dose as early as 7AM the day after my DOC. I have never had precipitated withdrawals. I believe that since I have bupe constantly in my system, it's there the whole time I take my DOC, and it's still there when I take my next bupe dose.

Just my experience.

From my personal experince 12 hours was ok for dope and Oxy IRs...the medical community says 24 hours, but a good indicator is when you get some symptoms just above the watery eyes and yawns..I was lucky/unlucky, that I would always time my last dose and I could usually sleep through until like 18-20 hours after my last dose, and I never EVER had a problem with PWD doing this, and yes sometimes I Went as early as 12 hours with no PWD..however, I was unlucky that it always took me a good 2-3 and the last time 5 days before I would feel 100% ok again, I wouldn;t be full blown withdrawal but just enough to wish I hadn;t done it in the first place...

Please, Please, Please read the sticky threads in this forum regarding this question. There is no right answer as everyone's body is different, however there is a COWS (clinical opiate withdrawal scale) stickied that doctors use to tell if you are in w/d enough to take you Bupe. I'm closing this thread and deleting any others as this topic has been covered and the answer is very easy to find. Thank for you future cooperation regarding this matter.

I should also add that if you maintain on Bupe and have not let it leave you system, you should not have to "wait"
