Hydro 30's -50's and 110's

SWIM has a friend who has a friend....he gets a UPS delivery from a compounding pharmacy every week...he lives in PA, not sure where the pharmacy is...anyways, he gets these compounded hydros...they are in capsules and are pure hydrocodone 30mg, 50mg and 110mg....I couldn't find anything online other than, "I think a compounding pharmacy a friend uses makes those"....So, I was skeptical....they lined one up and I tried a 50 a few days ago...still skeptical I wanted to be there when they were delivered so I could see the packaging straight off the truck...

They come today....I walked to the door, watching him sign for it...we went to the kitchen and he opened the box..inside were those sheets of bubble packed pills-30 a sheet....the label on the box said "Hydrocodone bitrate 110mg"

Has anyone else ran across these or anything similar before? I asked why he didn't just get pure oxy instead, much more access and he said he itches so bad from oxy he makes himself bleed even off 10mg so his doc writes these and gets them compounded.

They were a helluva deal...around her hydro's go $1 per mg.....30's are 15.00 50's are 25.00 and 110's are 40.00..he gets 90 110's and 30 each of the 30's and 50's per month....I need his Doc.

Well, if they weren't hydro I'd imagine you're friend wouldn't keep ordering them. Are they time release or something because I just cannot imagine a doctor Rx-ing 110 mg of hydro PER PILL!? I'm also wondering about this "compounding pharmacy."

I guess anything's possible, but it's too bad there isn't a way to test them because while I'm not entirely skeptical that there's some sort of narcotic in there I have to wonder if it's what they say it is.

You've never heard of a compounding pharmacy before? I heard of someone who used to get his morphine from one, used to get 150mg capsules of it. Since they don't make those he got them from a compounding pharmacy.

Yes it is possible to get hydrocodone minus the apap from a compounding pharmacy. The reason it's not so common is because there are other options to other medications so most doctors try all of those first. One thing you have to remember is it now makes it a Schedule II because it no longer contains the apap.

I have heard of the 30mg ang 50mg but never the 110mg. Chances are the are not snortable or shootable for that matter since they compound them to be extended release. That means they use hydroxy cellulose, the stuff that turns to gel blobs.

I know nothing about compounding pharmacies...these ...if realistic sound good , though..this product sounds similar to the kind of packaging received when SWIM ordered Vikes from an online pharmacy. Received some bootleg lab output that was better down the toilet than my throat...

Hydro in this form certainly does exist.

Before I started taking morphine and oxy for my CP, my doctor had me on compounded hydrocodone CR pills. They had a local compounding pharmacy make them in 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100mg formulations. I only had the 20 and 40mg ones before I was switched to morphine.

They came in a 30 pill blister pack, delivered from the pharmacy via courier. It was good shit–worked pretty well for the pain too–I just started having side effects once I went to the 40mg pills, so I was switched off the hydro.

I actually used to work at one these magical pharmacies, and it was a mail order pharmacy. this was back in the days of being able to get OxyContin and stuff through the mail (totally legit mind you, it was the second largest pharmacy in the US). We pushed out between 10,000 and 30,000 scripts a day and about 10% were CII's and CIII's. There was this place called "The Cage" where they kept all the CI's and CII's. It was 4inches of lexan and only people with a certain badge could get in, the doors were rigged up so only two people at a time could be in there and there was 13 cameras in that room. I got in there one time, a bad ass pharmacist there let me in (wouldn't let me touch anything). But they just had pounds upon pounds of pure Hyrdo powder, oxy powder, pretty much everything you could imagine in freebase form, even medical cocaine (yes, it's exists!). Anyways, this was before my days of loving Opi's so I didn't even know what half the stuff was...if they let me in there now I'd probably cream my pants and pass out.

Anyways, compounding pharms are cool...they can pretty much make you any coctail you could imagine.

I had a friend of a friend who also knew a guy in PA that got these exact same pills, and yes they are legit.
