So a couple days ago I was talking about using a Sub to hold me over until I get my surgery. I took 1mg on Tuesday and didn't take anything yesterday. I was definitely in rough shape yesterday, but I figured I'd try to go as long as I could before I dosed. This morning around 8am I decided to take .5mg. Now I feel very agitated, my palms are sweaty, my stomach hurts, and I keep catching myself slightly nodding. This is fucking crazy, a half a milligram did this to me?! This is definitely from the Sub, doesn't feel like withdrawal at all. So that's good, right? It means my taper is working, if I'm this fucked from .5mg?

could be. i've had friends come over before and ive had them take 1mg before and they've got high as a kite off of it...of course little to no opiate tolerance at all...so yeah...congrats man...

i am by no means an expert on anything though, but it sounds to me like your taper has worked...

ya, subs get some people really high. I have a decent tolerance and i swear, i love them. Well to an extent. Ok, more specifically, i just like the honeymoon with subs, then they quick become flavorless maintenance medication. But those first few doses after a good break put me in a great place.
Subs, apart from their mixed agonist/antagonist mu/delta bs, also tickle a newly discovered nociceptin opiate receptor. This receptor is responsible for the stress relieving and antidepressant features of subs and new selective nociceptin agonists that are being researched (which will kick prozac and all those evil ssris/tricyclics off the boat). Im one of the few that react strongly to these nocicpetin receptor tampering, and they make me feel so optimistic, apathetic, and mellowed out in a way different than the ol heroin/oxy buzz.

Bupe is sold in Europe as a pain killer that comes in .2mg and .4mg which is a recreational using dose for it so it makes sense that you'd be feeling it for sure. And yes thats a good sign that your tolerance is getting lower because once you've been on bupe daily for a while .5mg would most likely go unnoticed.
