Anything to help the nausea?

Ive been really good about not letting my habit get too crazy this time, but I am starting to get a little sick. Its not bad, except for the nausea. Its really the only symptom im getting. My legs dont hurt, im not really sweating, not too jumpy or any of the other fun things that came with my other kicks, just kinda bleh feeling. Knowing how bad it can get, feeling bleh isnt too bad.

But this nausea sucks. Im gagging when I brush my teeth and even when im just sitting around. I never puke or dry heave, just gagging. Years ago I was sober for 8 months and this nausea thing never really went away. I went to the docs and they didnt find anything, although if you mention you were an addict they'll blame everything on that, which they did.

Anyway, is there anything OTC or a herbal remedy that anyone can recommend? I have tums and zantac but that didnt really do much.

hell pots the best 4 nausea but pepto bismol works for me---
if nausea is a real problem try to get your doc to prescribe phenergan that helps with nausea and boosts opiates to boot

I agree with rockbottom: phenergan/promethazine works great for nausea and I haven't had a problem getting it prescribed for "innocuous" purposes.

Something immediate and OTC that might help is fresh ginger. You can chew a bit or just make tea from a few slices of fresh root. I have a pretty sensitive stomach from years of being over-prescribed ibupropfen (GRRRR), and ginger works to quell my nausea.

If you can get it prescribed, phenergan/promethazine or Zofran (ondansetron) both work really well.

And yes, weed is amazing for nausea.

sometimes benadryl works if I can't find anything else - or a peppermint lozenge.

+1 I am agreeing with phaedros on this one.
I noticed the samething whenever I am withdrawaling. It's not really nausea, it's just gagging all the time for what appears to be no apprent reason. I recently discovered though that it is sinus congestion, it's very very slight, you can barely tell it's congestion. It's enough of a feeling in the back of my throat to cause me to gag. Just for the hell of it, go to the pharmacy and buy some 4-Way Nasal Spray and try it. I'd be willing to be it helps your problem. Another thing that helps soothe it is Ocean Nasal Spray, get the store brand of course, it's cheaper. Sometimes when I'm even in slight w/d just dry sinuses and a dry throat are enough to cause the gag reflux to be hyper sensitive. You normally on't notice it while on dope or pills because they dull the feeling. Try it an let me know if it helps.

I got the same thing im just about 2 weeks clean am 100% except im still NOT sleeping..but ive been doin the gag thing for the past 2 weeks but its from congestion drippin it goes away for me eventually i havent actually thrown up......i just use the afrin-sever congestion...clears u right out wen i did oxys i carried that like i did a spike with dope
