Snorting Benzos

Can benzodiazepines be crushed and snorted? Will any work like that?

I have never tried it, but I want to see if anyone has.

If you have snorted any benzo can you tell us of your experience? What benzo was it? stuff like that.
I wonder if only there are only certain ones that can be absorbed in intranasally.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Iv done xanax up the snosh i found it real good the first week then nothing, but benzos cant be abused for very long normaly, what have you got?
I cant think of any others that would be worth snorting
Get some xanax with the most xanax it it but smallest tablet size there is liquid xanax its not the xanax brand I cant remember

K-pins are good snorted. they have a nice minty taste. Or you can try a trick swim knows of crushing them up and putting them in ginger ale they seem to hit quick that way. Snorted v's too works pretty good, gingerale works too with that.

Morph, SWIM was blowing the XanaXX ER 3mg, all day. I didn't want to try it cause I have a supply. THIS IS WHAT HE WAS SAYING: those extended release don't burn, but did not taste to good. However, he continued to do it and did it all night, 5 or 6 maybe. Also stated he has done worse.

And tried to IV a 3millie ER, and had no success.

I went to a local pharm. and they now have a generic for the extended release. However, had to call 4 pharms to find em' (C*S). There are Mylan. Thought it may help someone.

Any powdered drug can be blown in my book with a few exceptions like Dilaudid.To blow Xanyx in my opinion seems fruitless to me because it wear's off so fast anyway that your only making it wear off that much faster, and I've never really found any pleasure in a Benzo "Rush" which im not even sure exists. K-pins, Valium and Restoril are the only ones I would snort nowadays, but I find no extra joy in it so if Im feeling anxious and want it to kick in fast I might just parachute 'em but normally I just eat 'em up. Gotta chew K-pins though, they taste so good.
I'd be carefull snorting K-pins though cause they go down easy and soon you'll realize your legs are made of rubber and before you know it your waking up on the floor with carpet marks on your face or bent over the steering wheel of a car that you crashed into someones living room with a dead hooker, eight grams of coke, half a bottle of Jack and a small mexican boy you were smuggling into a slavery camp in the car. eh he...uh...ehgmm

Even when I did snort benzo's regularly I didn't get any extra kick out of it nor did I really I really think it was necessary at the time. I was just so used to snorting so many things that I would have snorted nuggets if I could of. Chronic impulse snorter no more.

I remember snorting V.s a few times now I found them very different they made me feel sick V's matoblites are what make the drug not the V it's self so much.

Truly words of wisdom Opiyum! I would have to agree, snorting benzo's is a waste. There is a couple of threads on this site that talks about the health implications of snorting benzo's that worth checking out. I would say if you're looking for a speedy delivery, crushing them and eating is the way to go. When SWIM still dabbles every so often with 'em, he just takes 'em the ol fashion way. I always found in the past if I took benzo's for an extended period of time that it would affect my seratonin levels too much. I assume that's where the depression and crazy thoughts came from after stopping their regular usage.

That would seem to be the way to go, when I was curious about the effectiveness of snorting Xanax XR (thinking the ground up inactive ingredients from the extended-release mechanism would partially get between the drug and the mucus membrane, even more so than just the fillers themselves), I found this:

"For recreational effects, alprazolam is generally administered orally. Nasal insufflation (often called "snorting") sometimes occurs, but due to the drug's chemical structure, it is not absorbed through the mucous membranes (http://forum.opiophile.org/wiki/Mucous_membranes). Instead, the powdered tablets and mucous drip down the back of the throat into the stomach, where they are absorbed as they would have been if taken orally. Therefore, insufflation of the drug is no more potent than when taken orally, and it often severely irritates the nasal passages. one source is good enough for me skelly. proves my feelings in the past to be understandable.

not such a good idea, some benzos are much worse for you nasal cavity and all it does is make certain kinds come on quicker but not last as long , but some opiates it may be different
