So I was driving home during a break from work to grab my check book, yeah, my check book......anyways as my friend and I were pulling outta our culvesac we saw this shaved head motha fucka on a bike with what looks like a 7 year olds pink bike stashed under his right arm. It hits me.....thats my fuckin neighbors daughters bike!!!!
I roll down the window and yell at him, "Hey asshole, whacha doing with that bike?" He doesnt even turn around, he just starts peddling faster. I floor it and get in front of him, and my buddy and I jump out, this guy was a big fucker, and Im not the giggest guy in the world, but when my blood is boiling, I can knock your ass out with 1 fist, my buddy pushes him off his bike and we both start kicking the asshole. We put the bike in my back seat and bring it back to our neighbors daughter. My good deed for the day. I couldnt even believe the balls on this guy, trying to steal a 7 year olds bike, maybe even for his little kid.
And I thought I had done some evil shit in my day, but never have I stolen a little girls only toy. This little girl is so sweet and just the thought of her bike being stolen FUCKIN PISSED ME OFF SO GODDAMN MUCH!!!

something like that happened as a kid to my sister. She had a yellow bike with a multi colored flower banana seat on it when she was 7. Someone had stolen it. About 2 months later me and my mom were hanging out in the front yard and this 16 year old dueche bag is riding this little girls bike down the street. Mom runs out in the middle of the street yelling at this asshole, he trys to peddle faster but how fast are you going to go on a 7 year old size bike. Well mom grabs the little metal loop on the back of the banana seat and gets sis's bike back. The kid must have seen the devil in her eyes or something cause he just ran.

I dislike thievery in general, but someone stealing from a child just pisses me off. Where I live I used to see people riding one bike, while leading another along beside them all the time. The mayor got rid of this problem when she eliminated bike lanes. (Actually I'm pretty sure this was done to increase the number of fares for the city bus).

Karma or the idea of Karma I should say is blind dont forget that part. Shaunclo's good deed wont necessarily come back to him in a good way but he changed the lives of two people today and people in their futures will reap the benefits of said good deed.
One the bald fucker (hopefully) learned something today and this knowledge will be passed on to someone else in a good way..once again hopefully.
Two that little girl...well you could look at it in two ways. If shes aware of the heroism that saved her bike from being stolen than she has gained(subconciouly) some faith in mankind's ability to be compassionate and she was educated on the ways of the criminal. She now has a better understanding of mans ability to fuck his brother in the ass.
If shes unaware of all of this than she has learned nothing therefore is vulnerable to midjudging either kind of behavior in the future....did that make sense...I hope so...

I don't believe in karma at all, mostly because I'm not really religious, and I can't see how having faith in a supernatural bean-counter force that is everywhere all the time and distiguishes right from wrong is not religious...
I don't knock anyone else's belief (we still cool ZK?) that's just mine, and I'm sure I've crapped that one out here before on another post.

^ Actually I don't believe in karma myself; I am completely non-religious, however I find the concepts of certain theologies interesting.
Oh, I am an honorary member of the Church of Satan, bestowed upon me by Magister Peter Gilmore, who is now the big boss since Anton Szandor LaVey passed away.
I am a de-facto Satanist in that the way I live my life parallels a lot of the tenets of the CoS. However, I don't partake in any rituals, and walk around trying to be all spooky all the time. I save that for the stage---the band I'm in has a Satanic ideology behind it.
And when I speak of Satanism, I speak of Laveyan Satanism, not devil-worship. Laveyan Satanism is more of a pragmatic philosophy for living your life free of the dogma of organized religion. It does not embrace the concept of some anthropomorphic deity sitting on a throne in a fiery place, laughing with delight as he collects souls. There is no animal or human sacrifice, in fact animal life is considered sacred.
I challenge anyone to read "The Satanic Bible" by LaVey and tell me it is not an interesting tome with a lot of concepts that most of us "inelligent" people embrace anyway. I think only the most devout catholics would find it offensive.
And speaking of "evil", the Catholic Church is a good place to start. Throughout history more atrocities have been committed in the name of Catholicism than Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, Pol Pot and Ceucescu combined. It is one of the most corrupt organizations to ever exist. They prey on peoples weakness and fears and reap huge monetary sums in return. Not to mention all the pedophiliac priests. Ugh...
Ok, so I'll shut up now, I'm starting to rant here....

Dudes - karma is.
And it doesn't matter if you don't believe in the Almighty - He/She/It believes in you! But I find it hard to fathom that those who regularly glimpse the kingdom profess its nonexistence.

JESUS FUCKIN CHRIST!!!! If I knew this thread would have taken this kinda turn I wouldve just kept it to me myself. As for me being up to something, he he he, I always am. But what I am wondering is if Opiyum is just mad becuase he got his ass kicked by 2 guys yesterday for ripping off some little girls bike. How dare you call me "high and mighty", that was seriously hurtful Opi, I am anything but, I sometimes wonder if I am the Anti-christ and just havnt realized it yet.
The fact that this scenario fell on my lap doesnt mean shit about who I am. If I was a saint, I wouldve just taken the bike back without kicking the shit outta this guy, but no, I had to get all psycho on his ass (which he probably deserved) but who am I to say that. If I didnt have my buddy with me, I cant say for sure if I would have been so brave. I probably would have just followed him and the called the piggies for them to blow his house down.
One thing I think we can all agree on is no religion talk on this forum, it is too touchy of a subject and too many people get WAY too defensive when they are trying to stick up for their beliefs. Plus this is an Opiates forum and it has no place. Theres already enough shit on here about politics, which I stay the fuck away from also, theres just something about talking politics and religion. Its the only 2 subjects that I refrain from talkign about on forums.
The Karma thing we have discussed before, I am not religious, but I DO believe in Karma. But the bike thing is not something I consider a good deed that will come back to me, it was just a fun deed!!
I gotta go back and say to Opiyum again, either your taking way too many lines up that nose of yours buddy, or you are point envy. If it is the points, Im so fuckin sick and tired of people thinking that I am so perfect and thats why I have so many posts. The ONLY reason is because I try to answer every Q with an A that I possibly can. I have done a lot of stupid shit in my time which makes me have a lot of info to pick from. Plus I have been a member here for quite a while now, making it easier to accumulate more points. Just becuase you have only been a memebr for like 3 months and you dont have as many, QUIT BITCHING!!! I can promise you that writing posts like that will not get you points, only bewildered looks. The only thing about the point system that I look for is if your in the minus, otherwise your cool.

Robert Anton Wilson's Cosmic Trigger Vomlume one: The Final secret of the Illuminati
Its a quick enlightening read...Karma is just one of many topics covered in the book but thats one of the ones that stuck with me the most. I didnt even(obviously) get it across right but the sum of it basically says that "Karma", or we could call it Tidlywinks if anyone prfers that, is blind to the that of time and the face of man. I need mor sllep and food...that reminded me we were eating at Tom's diner last night annd theres a big neon sign that says non smoking with a neon arrow underneath pointing to a cement block wall( as to say there is none)...I liked that.

Serioulsy, I am so not the nice guy everyone is labeling me as. I sincerely appreciate all the kind words, but I guarantee if anyone of you were in that same situation, not a one of you would have hesitated. I also had my bike stolen when I was 17 from this bowling alley my buddies and I always use to hang out at. I remember that feeling still to this day.
I walked out and all that was left was my bike chain, some guys sitting near told me they saw they guy ride the bike over to this motel (right next door to the bowling alley) so my friends and I charged over there just lookign for a guilty face. I never found it. Thats all that was going thru my mind was how devastated the little girl would be. I always see her riding by my house on her little bike with the biggest smile on her face, and it just makes me remember what it feels like to have such simple joys in life. My simple joys has turned into spiking my arm now, so its nice to still be able to see that pure form of happiness in her face without a needle having to be involved.
Every time I spike and I go outside to enjoy a smoke, and I see her ride by, I feel like such a fuckin monster. I always ponder to myself, how did I trun into that guy that use to scare the hell outta me when I was a kid. You know that feeling when your a kid and you see a grown-up smoking or drinking, and you just think, Ewwwwwww, why does he do that to himself. Well here I am, jabbing and smoking and drinking my whole exhistance away.

Wow, have I missed a lot (...but like Codd, thought of it more as all a big joke). Shaunclo, I don't care what you or anyone else says,... I'm very glad you beat the hell outta someone that obviously deserved it. And as for scaring ppl, I think it's an "eye" thing. You know, when you go back and look at a pix and your eyes tell exactly what you were/are doing....? Def window to the inside.
I don't think you could hold the scary-freaky-hollow-eyes' look long enough to truly scare a little kid (even tho I'm not saying you aren't a junky, just not a "scary to little kids' kinda" junky....) Now, evidenced by the ass-whipping you administered... you certainly can scare an adult bastard (and again, GLAD you did), but children and animals are different... see right thru to the core. They know good, they know bad.
I'm glad you cared enough about that little girl's happiness and purity of expectations to delay her realization of what a shit-soup we swim in daily.

Good show my man, good show. Just imagine now if this were something that had involved your own child (future or present, I'm not going to presume you do or don't have kids) and imagine what would have happened. I'm rabid about protecting my kids. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 3 month old son. One day recently, I was driving home and pulled into the network of streets where I live. I look in the rearview and see this d-wad tailgating me bad. Like I couldn't even see his headlights he was so close. The kids were in the back in their carseats. So, I pull over and wave him past and he zooms past like 60 mph on a suburban house filled road. I followed as safely as I could until I saw him pull into a driveway. I went back home, dropped off the kids and went back out. I told my wife I forgot something and just left quick. When I got to the house where the guy pulled in, the car was still there. I parked with my front bumper touching his rear bumper, got out, opened his driver side door which was unlocked (had it not been I likely would have broken the glass) and layed on the horn. Within like 20 seconds this woman comes out and asks what is going on, right after she comes out, her son comes out who also happened to be the fucker driving the car. She can see that I'm one pissed off mo fo but I'm really more pissed that this is a kid and I can't break his teeth out, he was like 17 or something. I explain the situation to her and advise that if her kid can't learn to drive safely she should take his license. I explained that I lived in the neighborhood and that I had my two kids in the car and was concerned for not only their safety but the safety of any other kids playing in the street while this idiot drove like his ass was on fire. The kid started to get some lip on him and the woman said this to him, swear to god no lie, completely straight face "If you don't shut up, I'm going to let this guy do what he came here to do." I nearly fucking busted out laughing, you should have seen the kids face drop. Then, she told him to give her the license and the keys which he really started bitching about and she was having none of it. She told him that if he didn't give them up, he wouldn't drive again as long as he lived in her house. LOL, this little fucker... I couldn't believe his mom was being so cool. He gave up the goods and she told him to get in the house. She apologized profusely and gave me her number so I could call her if should the kid be allowed to drive again, if I saw anything unusual I could call her.
kind of off on a tangent but man, that was some crazy shit... I couldn't believe this lady busted her kids balls so hard, he deserved it but man.... .

I couldn't believe this lady busted her kids balls so hard, he deserved it but man.... .
That is such a great story Corn, the thing I like most about it was the mother. She kicks ASS!!!! What a great mom. I thought the story was going to end with her defending her son or something, but the fact that she understood exactly where you were coming from is so fuckin cool.
I mean we were all young and stupid at one point in our lives, and I remember getting my license for the first time. Well within 1 goddamn year I bend the axle on my mother's brand new toyota camry, then the following week I crashed my dad's old-school toyota van. (while I was looking down at a sack of green I just purchased) My parents were so cool about it though, I mean I did get punished, but it was clearly out of pure love, not anger. My parents are probably the only reason I didnt off myself when I was doing the whole downward-spiral thing a couple of years ago.
Its funny how much you dont appreciate and take for granted the things that your parents do for you when your young. It took me so long to understand what I put them thru and how I owe them everything. I would have thrown my ass out on the streets before I would have put up with the shit I tried to pull. They are both truly exeptional people, and atleast they know now how much I cherish them.

i learned to drive 25 in neighborhoods like 2 days after i got my lis. i was driving with my ma, and i was doing like 35 in a 25, and she flipped. she says "you know, youre supposed to have more sense than the little kids, so when those little fuckers jump out from behind a car, and youre driving to fast to stop, you gotta live with it for the rest of your life." I immediatley through on the clamps, and i freak out when asses drive like a fucking bullet in a neighborhood.

Also is karma designated to any specific religion...i thought it was more of a universal philosophy. its those damn buddists isnt it?
Yes, and Hindus, and I was kinda just talking. I guess I forget how seriously some take this. I appreciate / condone / respect intellectual discourse of any type, religion and politics included. But some do get truly offended and mad, maybe because they felt insulted?
Anyway, I think if there's a group consensus we could avoid the topic, or confine it to one area?
Also, even though this is a board about opiates, we can't help but get to know each other better and talk about other things. With all the intelligence and experience here (and personalities) I think it would be a travesty otherwise. But that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about other people's opinions...
One more thing: Its so hard to tell if people are joking or not with the written word, so maybe we should assume all posts with a certain tint are jokes... that way, if they are, no useless flaming occurs, and if they aren't, maybe joking back will disarm.
Back on-topic (what were we talking about anyway?) I think all bike thieves deserve whatever they get.

Ho I agree bud Relig and politics ahould be designated to PM's else the conversations go nowhere. I just didnt realize Karma would bring up religious debate...my bado..
And the joking thing yeah I know I got a weird sense of humor and need to try and make it more apparent when I'm being that way. When its over the top though Im probably not being "for real yo"..haha...one more public apologies for tainting another perfectly fine thread. Promptly fucking myself...

^ Wow, Blackie, I never thought of it that way!!! The guy gets his ass kicked after buying the bike....fuckin' hilarious...:D
And I know it's probably just a misspelling, but I like the way you called Shaun Shaunicio...
Sounds like some sleazy latin lover or something: "Come to me darling, and let Shaunicio take you to untold heights of pleasure" (in the "so sexy" accent from that Sat Night Live sketch....)
I dunno if anyone will know what the fuck I'm babbling about here, so ........sorry.

I do, ZK. Found it hysterical, too.... from now on.... he's our latino playboy whether he likes it or not... And he must wear red spandex, at all times, when he's on this site. OK, Shaunicio? Por favor?
BD, that is a very disturbing but comical illustration of "another scenerio...."
Oh and Opi, just type "j/k" if you sense it could be highly explosive. That or stock up on the Cat-o-nine-tails or whatever that medieval torture device is called... the stick thingy with all the whips on the end.

Yeah I guess your right. I just hate that phrase Just kidding. Its something that among friends should never have to be used... the joking aspect should be implied....but that doesnt translate to written word and strangers I guess

^ I totally agree w/ you on the sarcasm thing, Opiyum. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy when in conversation with friends and whatnot, but it's difficult to translate that into the written word.
Especially on a message board where everyone seems to be in a very sensitive mood today. Not any specific name will be mentioned, 'cause I happen to like all of ya. Except the newbies that are constantly (well, maybe not constantly, but often) soliciting me for drugs via PM. I wish they would just go away.

So porcelain will easily crack auto safety glass, is that you're saying (just to clarify)?

Oh Fuck Yeah!!!! You use that method too Poon?? My buddy who rides a street bike carries with him at all times a handful of spark-plugs in a very accessible spot. If someone cuts him off on the freeway or side streets, he just gets in front of em and tosses a couple their way. Spark plugs will fuck up a windshield so fast. Thats so funny you brought that up, I totally forgot about the ol' spark plug trick!!

Opi, we are cool brutha man. It just hit me the wrong way that day, it was a fucked up day at work and I just wasnt my normal self when I was reading your post. No harm done man...
As for what you said Black Dog, I was thinking the same fuckin thing. I turned to my buddy and said, "We better be absolutley positive that that is the same fuckin bike, or were getting locked up." Thats why I yelled at him to see what he would do. And sure enough, he BOLTED. It was pretty hillarious watching a big ass dude trying to peddle as fast as he could with a little bike under his arm. I though he was gonna fall over, or atleast drop the bike but no, he just kept on going. I still crack up thinking about it. That look on his face when my buddy got to him first, and was just about to push him off, I could see him thinking, Ohhhhhhhhh Fuuuuuccccckkkkkkk Meeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Religion intrigues me but I play no role in any of the organized versions of it. The spiritual aspect is what suites me. I have respect for those with faith. Like any tool, which I believe religion is, seeing that it is a creation/idea that came from one place and one place only. The human mind. The greatest tool(or worst depending on how you look at it). It can be used or abused. Enlightenment or brainwashing. Community or Xenophobia. Love or Hate. Consumer of souls or Spiritual administrator. I'm a humanist I try to behave as decently fairly and honorably without any expectation of rewards or punishments in an afterlife. Though day in and day out I lose more faith in humanity, there are those times when I'm suprisingly optimistic.
That's were Im coming from...at least thats where I try coming from...

Opi, that was admirable, and you may have helped Opiobsessed with his word about "fear of people"... xenophobia is fear/hatred of foreigners. Oh well, maybe he has social anxiety syndrome. Just trying to help you find that word you were looking for....
Opi, I like your synopsis. Makes sense and is true. Good homework.
Let's all live, let live, and learn enough to save our freakin lives... when we get too close to the edge.

I guess Xenophobia isnt exactly the opposite of community but I was looking for a word meaning fear of outsiders or in other words "those outside "our" community, others..." but unfortunately its normal to fear the unknown. Fight or Flight.

I hate it when I tell people that I'm a "Christian" and they immediately picture a "church"
I don't even go to a church....church is wherever I am at any given time...
hypocrites have ruined "church" for the world....besides, who wants to sit in a room and listen to someone spew on and on until we're drooling from boredom...?
"Religion" is for people for are afraid of going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have been there.
I did have a cool church I went to, but we lost our lease and were fined for excess noise :o
we had these Friday night concerts that were popular with the local high school kids...
funny, I remember my ears ringing leaving those first few services...how many people can say that about "church" ??? "These here AIN'T yo grandparent's Sunday school :D hymns, that's for sure!"

I think I am going to start the church of your sister's bike. Well on a serious note spark plug chips do work great to spider out windows. Watch out tailgaters and remember to take that face off your car stereo
This little girl is so sweet and just the thought of her bike being stolen FUCKIN PISSED ME OFF SO GODDAMN MUCH!!!
thats awesome we need more people like you! that was extremely noble of you :)
