Has anyone heard of this book? I recently got it on a bit_torrent download. It seemes to show basic chemistry principles, as well as how to set up equipment out of things at home. The download said that the book was banned in the 1960s (not sure if that is true). It's loaded with pictures and examples and seems like it would be handy for the "kitchen chemist". If anyone wants to PM me I would be more then happy to email it and share.

Thanks for the tip, I've always held an interest in chemistry, but have had little experience with it (I just found it searching, no need for pm.)
Speaking of bit torrent, any WSB fans might be intersted in The Best of William Burroughs Collection (4 disc set). You should be able to find them on piratebay. There's only one or two people seeding them though (you can probably guess who one of the seeders is.)

looks like all of it is mp3. orally read to you so you dont have to do the work, my kind of books.
it is downloading slow though.

Bah, oral presentations bore me... I'd rather just have plain old text. That would actually be helpful in the case of something of this nature as it could include illustrations of set ups and the like. Oh well, I actually deleted bit torrent from my PC the other day.

Mine was in PDF however it can be transfered into a word doc.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but how exactly do you do that? If I could get it to convert to word format I might just go ahead and redownload bit torrent to pick it up.

Ok, so I reinstalled Bit Torrent on my PC and picked up a copy of this book from torrentspy but the file only has 30 something seeders and my bit rate is at 0 kb/s so if anyone has a link to a faster/more effecient file could they please PM me the link. I am an avid collector of clandestine chemistry books and wouldn't mind having this in my collection.
