I am ordering this extract and whould have it next week. it is a proprietorsw blend of 2 common and 2 not so common south american herbs. the whole extract has been shown to affect the dopamine, serotonin, and opiate receptors. the extract has been proven cross tolerant with morphine, and its analgesic effects are reversed by naloxone. I suspect 1-8 cineole, an oil in ginger might be an active culprit considering the opiate activity, as well as the rarer of the herbs used in this proprietors blend. a months supply runs 25$ I am going to start using it when I cut my kratom dose. so basically for under 200$ a person could order kratom and this catauma and kick most any opioid addiction. I have found a legal OTC herbal approach to opiate detox that can comfortably be completed over a 1 1/2 month period WITH NO DAYS OFF FROM WORK, and little bowel irritation or night sweats experienced. of course I am still waiting to try the catuama extract, but if it is active like it is supposed to be then I think it should work great for weening off of kratom. how many other herbal opiate agonists are out there waiting to be experimented with? right now I have a list of 5 that I can order from different countries that are available, and something like 10 others that I still have to find a source for....all researched in technical data on the internet. at the rate they are showing up there may be literally a hundred opiate herbs available to opiophiles around the world in the next five years.

yes I found a source for the extract but it is too expensive......I am going to order the ingredients seperateley and make my own extract, and just use equal parts as I dont know any proprietors ratios for recipes.
I did buy several boxes of the extract and found it very useful for energy...........
I have not used it to try and ween off of opiates as I did not have enough of the catuama to do so..
basically the two weeks that I used it I was switching over jobs, working two jobs morning and night and worked two weeks straight just using kratom, poppy seeds and catuama, I had tons of energy, and felt pretty damn good considering I was dropping my kratom and poppy seed dose the whole time...........
I wonder if 1-8 cineole, an oil in ginger is behind part of the opiate agonism?, this oil occurs in a few analgesic herbals as well....perhaps.
the other ingredients to the catuama extract I need to research more. all are available for 20-30 bucks per pound, a few hundred grams of extract might be made from a few pounds of comined herbs.
I used 3-6 of the pills a day, so around 2-3 grams of extract was what I was dosing on. after a few days of taking the recommended 2 pills a day I realized I could up the dose.
I belive this stuff has some potential. it at least is a great stimulant/adaptogen with little stimulant side effects.
Opiates give me tons of energy in general.
A certian tribe of indians came up with this catuama extract, so If I made some and marketed it I would have to call it something else besides catuama...........

If you come up with a good formula let me know, perhaps you could even consider trading a sample for something else. I agree, opiates in moderate doses, and certain ones like hydrocodone, oxycodone, codeine and ketobemidon does wonders for me when working under harsh conditions and especially with boring stuff. Now I work at a recycle centre taking aparat electronics and it's really fun actually. I had a methadone overdose a few weeks ago after which I considered stopping opiates completely, but now I think I will just take a long break. Before that I used to work much better, faster and generally more efficiant, when on opiates as opposed to not. And that not having anything to do with addiction or comedowns, since I only used now and then with days apart. And when you got home the energic part had usually worn off and you could just lay back and relax.
Heroin and morphine generally made me too comfortable and I've been known to easier nod out on those, but when you know your doses they could work too, but sometimes I just passed out in a chair during coffee break haha.
