Suboxone and Tramadol

Ok so I have been taking tramadol for the last 2 weeks cuz its the only thing besides suboxone that I can take while on probation, I'm getting prescribed to suboxone again Friday and was wondering if I have to wait for the tramadol to be out of my system to take the suboxone or can they be taken together? I am going to stop taking the tramadol the day I get my script for suboxone. Anyone know if this will have a bad interaction? I know that tramadol binds to the opiate receptor even though its not an opiate. Thanks - Kil

I used to take them together when I was perscribed tramadol. It gave some decent effects. I have read about other people doing that as well

Ok awesome... thank you cuz I was worried that I might get sick if I took it too soon. Not like you can get super sick from tramadol wds but was just wondering. Thanks again!

How long have you been on subs?

I have never had issues with taking my subs after anything but M-done. I was sick as a dog for a LONG period of time after I did that. But as far as anything else goes, SWIM has always been fine.

Umm I'm just getting put back on them... a long time ago I was on them for 6 months.

Ok so just took 150mgs of tramadol this morning and 8mgs of suboxone 4 hours later and feel great... the doc put me on suboxone and neurontin (neurontin for anxiety and the shakes) anyone have any experience with neurontin or perhaps the two together?

I take ultrams/subutex all the time when I use the tex mixed in with some xannies! but actully when I was in pain and told my sub. doc about my pain issues was rx'ed ultram/tramadol so yea im 99% sure its a safe cominbation worked for me but hey remember everyone is differnt.
