About 7-8 years back I hung out with a guy I worked with. He was a big stoner and did pills now and then. One night we made a stop at the house of one of his friends. The guy we visited had just come home from getting an ileostomy (colon removed, the end of the small intestine was placed at his side sticking out a bit with a bag to catch waste). The surgery didn't go as well as planned, and this guy was in a lot of pain. The doctors gave him this powder stuff. When his pain flared up really bad, he would dump this powder in a small glass of water and drink it down. He was feeling better so he gave us both a packet. We dumped it in the water, chugged it down, and within 10 minutes I was fucked out of my skull! Anyone have an idea what this might have been? Back then I was a bit stupid and just took shit without really asking what it was.
When you say fucked out of your skull, do you mean opiate wise?
I've never heard of anything like this...but I'd like to know -- since you now know what opiates are and what they feel like, do you think that whatever this powder thing was -- was some sort of opiate?
Also, what color was it?
Maybe the guy was just BSing you and it was heroin. If it's good dope, oral ROA should rock a non tollerant person.

It was definitely an opiate buzz. To this day, I have never nodded so hard than I did with that stuff. It was a white powder in a sealed packet, the packets and the box reminded me of teabags. I definitely had no tolerance back then.

Very interesting. I have never heard any such concoction. You say it was sealed so it could not have been something he made up himself right? So it couldn't have been that he crushed up, for example, oxy, and put it in a bag. If this exists I would like to know more about.

No, it was sealed with dotted lines you had to cut with scissors. It had a name on it, too. Maybe I'll visit my old work and ask the guy what that stuff was.
Thinking about it, it may very well have been something compounded by a pharmacy since he was eating only babyfood for like a month, and maybe his body couldn't handle digesting pills yet. I've never seen sealed envelopes at a pharmacy, though.

That's interesting--- I've seen methadone 'wafers' that dissolve in water--- but not a powder..... makes me wanna hunt the web for the answer.... ask the dude what it was!

don't they have fentanyl like that?? i'll have to ask, but i swear about 5 years ago we got some fent like that...in a baggie like you described. maybe i'm wrong. i'll ask my friend and get back to you on that.

Considering fent is dosed by the microgram, I highly doubt it would come in a form like Pickle described.
Just my thoughts though...let us know if you can find out for sure.

i will definitely get back on this. i was pretty naive back then, so maybe that's just what i was told it was. i only did a tiny bit and i got rocked, whatever it was. it was a white powder, btw.

Nah--- Paregoric was a liquid--- I'm pretty positive about that.....don't think it's around anymore....

not that it matters now. i've never really even thought about it since then, but i'm wondering now wtf i took??
the person who gave it to me told me it was fent and that it's for, say cancer patients, who have trouble w/ pills. you're supposed to mix this powder w/ liquid and drink it down. that's not what i did, i blew it, of course:rolleyes:.....but what was it??

It was also made as a powder to be mixed at home..had 2mg of morphine per teaspoon
I've never heard / seen paregoric being a powder -- always a bottle of liquid.

I've only heard of pg in liquid form and I didn't read the link,but at 2mg per teaspoon you'd need a lot to get messed up.

^^ The first time i ever tried oxy i was given a 20mg oxynorm capsule. They're so sweet, an ultra fine powder in a capsule, just pour it up your nose :D

I know in the western era they prescribed morphine in this way.You just poured the powder in a glass of water mixed and drank.I dont think that they would prescribe it in the form now though.

It was probably just some powdered narcotic, like from a compounding pharm or something. I don't think it would have been Paregoric, because 1.) that's not really effective for severe pain (i.e., you'd have to drink a lot of it--in that case, Tincture of Opium / laudanum would be used); and 2.) it's used more as an anti-diarheal or anti-tussive now, if it's even used at all. I do think they make powdered opium. For instance, if you were to get a script for laudanum or something, you could theoretically go to a compounding pharmacy and have them produce it. They may have it on hand, or they could theoretically make it by adding a specific amount of powderized opium to alcohol.
The powder was white, though, so I doubt it was powderized opium. If anything is was probably powdered morphine or oxy or something like that. There's really no way to guess about this. It could have been almost anything. Although I will say it's more likely to have been something used also as a pill, because why would they give powdered anything to be mixed in water and taken orally if it has a shitty oral bioavailability? I doubt it would have been Fent.

so, i'm coming back to this thread b/c yesterday, my, uh, friend was offered fent powder! wtf?? from reading here it seems that it doesn't come in this form. but, this is from a completely different person than what i described before. different person, different state, same shit....supposedly. my friend hasn't seen it yet, but if she happens to get it, i'll have her take a picture for you guys then maybe we can get to the bottom of it.
and, btw, i asked someone about that fent powder that i supposedly took about 5 years ago, and they said it WAS fent powder. i'm very confused. whatever it was, it got me seriously, seriously FUCKED up.

Any kind of Fentanyl powder you or your friend is getting is almost definitely illicitly made and not any pharmaceutical. There isn't a pharmaceutical that is prescribed in this form. There could be compounding pharmacies that have Fentanyl powder but it is unlikely that it's very many do at all considering how small doses are and how dangerous it is. There is alot of bathtub Chemist out there making Fent analogs because they require very little chem knowledge and only common chemicals.

i agree 100% with roxi. they dont make powdered fent as a pharmaceutical. it had to be illicit. they have the pathces. the fent i used to get was on the street. the fent sold as heroin that killed all those people in 06. and ONE $10 bag would get me well AND high all day and i had a 13 bag a day habit which is quite large.. especially since it was good white chicago dope. 1 bag would have a non tolernat person nodding.
so , once again, i doubt it was powdered fent. that stuff is made in a lab, the stuff that was going around in 06 was found (the lab that is) in mexico and he got busted along with alot of other people. so thats why its not really around anymore but he was producing MAJOR weight.
hope this helps. be safe with that stuff. 100's of people have died from powdered fent that they thought was heroin. its EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMLY powerful. cant think of anything stronger thats why its in the patch and the dosage is in micrograms.
i personally think it was powdered methadone, i dunno, whatever.. ....hope i helped be safe and be good:)
