Leonotis leonurus 25X Resin

The other day SWIM was cleaning out the fridge and found a big black rock of leonotis leonurus resin (25x). Now although SWIM found this in their fridge, I had some questions about it. Has anyone here ever tried it? Liked it? Everything I read about it sounds like it's a euphoric experience. But you know, been there, read that.
The other thing about it is that it is this huge rock. Now try to refrain from S.A. answers here, if at all possible (I'm sensitive) like "hit yourself in the head with it idiot, and see how it feels". SWIM and I both have very little experience with resins, particularly one like this, that reminds me of that rock that Indians made arrows out of. So, what would SWIM do with this stuff to enjoy it, if another SWIM in here has ever maybe tried it any advice would be appreciated. Well, any advice that isn't temptingly S.A. because I know this is a tempting post for those of you with low impulse control. :) It also comes in plant form, wild dagga, which in retrospect perhaps SWIM should have thought of when they originally came across it, but I guess it must have seem like the rock would last longer. It has, actually, I hear it's a few years old.
Any suggestions or experiences anyone wants to share? And any advice on exactly what to do with this stone to make it productive? That kind of information isn't easily available on any search engine. Even Erowid mentions tea and smoke but not the "how to" part and with a rock, I have to humbly admit, I am puzzled and, granted, naive.

maybe SWIM could check with the supplier who provided the huge, well-preserved specimen ~ or posting a paraphrase of this post you have here in erowid-related forums, if there are such a thing....I've never heard of either wild dagga or this Obsidian-looking "rock" you can get stoned off of if you possess the tools and the knowledge...
I did all my MJ in sixth grade....HOMEGROWN!!! I've been down that road enough, and the LSD "trip" a bit...Now, it's just opiates, speed and maybe some shroomage on top if I could ever get some decent again....I'm done with experimenting....I know what it takes to run this machine, lol..

I misspelled stupid TO make the point - that I must be really STOOOOPID.
Why did you misspell it differently than I did, and without putting it in quotation marks? What does any of this have to do with trying to get smoke out of a stone?

I think with this resin that you might have better effect by consuming the product, rather than smoking.

I smoked a similiar product of high potenct dagga resin, over regular leaf and flower dagga....I was TIRED all day long, and should have saved the experiment for later in the evening. plus I had to smoke a large amount of material, and my lungs were SORE.

the resin probably is soluable in hot water, most likely 40-100% soluable in ethanol/vodka.

I really need more research into this herb to really define its effects further than just a sedative in action....I noticed no euphoria related to the herb.

I think that it is an active species though, and is most likely psychoactive as a depressant.

I have seen some combinations of this herb with kanna (sceletium).

:p THANK YOU Jacky, I really appreciate your input and I know you know your herbs :-) I appreciate it. Also katomic, thanks for the warning ... I definitely don't need any more neurotoxins in my system. I don't think I'd mind the "sleepy affect" at night, but do you remember if it gave you a "hangover" the next day? If that's the case, along with the neurotoxic part ... then I guess it will stay where it is for a while more. Maybe someone else will want to try it.

Hi guys. I tried some very potent wild dagga resin in the past. Although mine came in a tar form, as it was a proper iso extraction, so maybe because your is in a resin rock form it may of be processed to be like that. However i smoked my tar on tinfoil. I was extremely suprisped at the potency. It produced a nice stone effect something similar to weed, it made me feel heavy on the eyes too. There is no pronounced "euphoria" but there is a sense of well being, and feeling content. Seems to also produce a slight visual effects but mild. I would def try this extract again, as i really liked it, but my suplplier dos'nt stock it anymore, and i would be warry of other extracts.

As for your rock, i would advice to heat it slightly, either with a microwave or a cig ligher, and crumble some into a pipe, and smoke it. I imagine your rock extract could be heated and crumbled like hash, but don't smoke it in a joint as it would be wasteful. I don't know how strong your extract is or any other companies products, but mine has quite potent and required very little to smoke to have a good effect.
I have one thing against it although, its peaks quite quickly and effect is short acting, so a redose is required in about 20 or 25 min. I hope you enjoy it.

also i had no sign of any toxic effects, nor did i have a hangover. Very enjoyable substance, i don't use cannabis anymore but the i found the wild dagga more of a nice effect than weed, plus it leaves you less drowsy and more clear headed.
