Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. Been pretty busy working and what not. Could be you just blew the vein when you injected. Better to pull back and see if you get a flash(blood.) The bump is most likely what you injected. Try putting some heat on it if it has not gone down since. Just make a compress. Easy way is to wet a washcloth or small towel and put it in the microwave for a few minutes. Throw it in a plastic zip bag and wrap in a dry towel. Instant heat pack and should last for 10mins or more. If you don't have a microwave, boil a small towel in some water on the stove.

Let me know how it goes. Anytime you miss and inject put some heat on it to help the fluid get absorbed. Put some ice on areas where the vein is blown to prevent bruising.

When I slam my subutex I feel no pain or feeling of the drug traveling thru my vein. But when I slam H I can feel it travel like a bit of electricity thru my arm all the way thru my body, Uhhhhhh, it makes me shiver just thinking about it. It shouldnt hurt, but you should feel it. I have missed shots many times, do what Candy says, but even so its no big deal. It will be a little sore for a while, but will go away.

Also, I hope you cooked that shit well, or hello abcess

Citric acid can cause some burning even when you are in a vein. I have had the same experience with H myself shaun after injecting. Some substances cause more burning than others and it is always best to get flash first or pull back on the plunger to see if you are in the vein. You should get a nice flash or flow of blood if your in a vein.
If you don't get that flash, but your pretty sure your in, try pulling back just a touch, not much and see if that works. Don't push the plunger if it is just a small drop of blood you see. I always made sure that I could continue to pull back and get blood. Especially when it became harder and harder to get a vein. I was so damn worried I would blow it or lose it and waste a shot.

What she means by a flash is when your in the vein, and you pull back on the plunger, a flash of blood gets thrown into the syringe. It is also referred to a flower of blood. When you are dead in a vein and you slightly pull back the plunger, it should look like a beautiful little flower (depending on if your shooting tar or powder) sprouting inside the syringe. Its quite cool actually, when I see that flower of blood, my head starts screaming, OHHHHHHH MAN, HERE WE GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!, like when your at the top of a roller coaster, and you just got a peak of the down fall and your a little anxious, scared and happy all at once.

Ahhh, Gee Thanks, I think I am blushing!

Just a fun way to let the members know that their moderator is a nurse.
I will admit that this is the only site where I could share such an avatar.
Those nurses can be such prudes!

And I doubt it is the image this States Board of Nursing has in mind. But then again, I am no Florence Nightingale either!

No reason a woman can't be sexy and a nurse!
