A New OTC Source

I am throughly impressed with the new DXM alternative, Zicam Nite Cough.
It is 540mg of DXM HBr in an alcohol/PEG/glycerine, .75oz liquid dose.
No worse tasting than schnapps.

Gotta love technology.

When I read the ingredient list I was surprised to see lecithin!
I think it is almost comical that a nootropic is included with the DXM.
I had had very visual, lucid experience with it on the 16th and was amazed that 1080mg had the visual effects that it did.
The clarity and lack of any dysphoria, nausea, itching or other discomfort was incredible.
I usually use at least 1G as a starting point for exploration and was stunned by the effectiveness of such a small dose.
Then on the 18th, my wife, my son and I tried a 540mg dose to see how it compared weightwise.(me 180lb, Mephiesto 120lb)
We all had near identical experiences from the single dose, peaking about 2 hours in.
This is far and away the best method for dosing DXM, IMO.
It is like a beautiful young woman, smooth, strong and ready to ride.

Allright, this sounds like good stuff. How much did it cost? I'm gonna go look for this stuff. Robo DM is killin me.

When I did that stuff, I used to get CVS's version of the Robitussin 8hr Cough Syrup that just had the DXM in it. They came out with those Robitussin cough pills a few years ago. They're red gel caps that are tranparent and I think are either 15 or 30 mg a piece. Target makes a generic of them too. I think you get 30 pills for $3.00 or something like that. Smaller doses of DXM are okay, but if I take more than 100mg or so, I feel cold and start to trip. It's not my favorite, but smaller, moderate doses are okay if you're in a pinch.

Edit: I'm still waiting for the ability to get Tylenol 1's OTC. I'd love to live in Canada. It's not great, but at least it'd be better than nothing when you're sick.

i've used this stuff before atleast two years ago. tastes like cherry. i had zero dxm tolerance, it was acouple years since i touched the dxm...i decided to swallow half the bottle and see how i feel, i felt it coming on and it was manageable so i decided to drink the other half...that was a mistake...i had a friend over, another mistake...i ended up stripping down to my boxers clinging to my bed, every 2 minutes or so crawling to the bathroom to puke, laying on the floor thinking i was going to die, then i would go back to bed and repeat the process. i thought my friend was conspiring against me, like in fear and loathing sort of...was crazy...when i was on prozac it actualy potentiates dxm, as do other ssris. it prolongs the dxm trip (you can feel it up to 24 hours) and need only a smaller dose (i used to take ~100mg)...i think it can cause serotonin defiecency syndrome or someshit though. i'm on wellbutrin now and will probably try it out later. i have the gel pills, i like those more than the liquid or coricidin...no taste!

FYI: Tylenol 1's are cheap, yes, but they have an annoyingly high caffeine content (in large levels obviously, which are required when each pill has 8mg codeine.) Say it takes 120mg of codeine to help you feel straight during wd. That means you are taking 225mgs of caffeine, equivalent to several cups of coffee.. Not to mention the tylenol. I assume CWE is used, however there are still no easy ways to remove the caffeine..

I would choose Mersyndol if I were you. Its at all the same pharmacies carrying tylenol1, and it does not contain caffeine. It does contain doxylamine, which will knock your ass out in high doses (strangely it is found in nyquil in small doses), and 325mgs of tylenol.. I'm not to keen on the doxylamine but it is much better than caffeine. The price is about double tylenol 1's, but it comes in a 100 count bottle no questions asked(usually). I have seen it online for about 3 times the otc price in canada.

I had my fun with DXM cough syrup when I was in my early high school years. I used too buy a local brand of syrup that was 360mg DXM(as the sole ingrediant) for $3.99 so it was a really cheap high. But I've puked too many times and drank way too much of that shit and I can't even stand the sight of cough syrup anymore.


Robotussin Cough Gels are the best way too do DXM. I think it's about $7 after tax and its 15mg DXM per gel cap with a total of 20 gel caps. You won't puke from all that horrible cough syrup.

Anytime I think of Zicam I gag that shit is gross. It might just be in my head but you can't get through those mental blocks easily. Everytime I take cough gels I still kind of gag.
