A while back, I was having trouble with sleepiness; a normal side effect, of course, of all the meds I take. Actually, I think its the valium I take for muscle spasms thats the biggest culprit. Anyways, my doctor gave me about 30 samples of Providgil, 200mg tablets. It is a drug that they give to narcalepsy. I was supposed to take one every morning. The first day, I took one and it did not do much at all. So, the next day, I took 2, and there was a BIG difference. Damn if that stuff did not keep me awake all day and half the night! I might as well been tweaking out on coke or meth... although it was a bit milder than that. I was very awake and alert... the wife said I was talking kinda fast and was a bit jerky. It also had another side effect that was pleasant... let's just say, Viagra ain't got nothing on this stuff! :D
Is this the typical response from this medicine? Anyone take it on a regular basis? I go back to the doctor in a couple of week and I was thinking about asking him for some more samples. Its been about three months since he gave me the last ones. From what I understand, they are very expensive pills. Anyone know?
