Finally. Up to 1 ounce is a maximum of a $100 fine. Funny thing is the cops here dont have the citations yet and have no idea when they are getting them. Theres been tons of articles in the paper about cops simply not knowing what to do. fucking love it.

that's awesome! haha. at least your cops are serious about following STATE law. Out West, they don't give a fuck. In a lot of places, they wouldn't give a fuck, saying "Oh but there's still the federal law." Think about this: If pot becomes decriminalized FEDERALLY (like it obv. should be..), then you'll likely be able to smoke up in your National Parks and other federal owned property.. Cops won't do shit out there if that happened, hopefully in any state! Perfect! But, still, it's all just a dream. I'm happy for you and all of your fellow Statesmen(? lol).. Just wish it comes here soon! edit: I hope they don't start fining people like that, out the ass.. that's no good.. obviously to sell and shit is still very illegal, right? but if you're in your own home they can't do anything? there's gotta be some lenient cops that can show their love of weed and let go potheads much easier now!

Yeah, I felt when they made medical marijuana legal out here, that it was the beginning of hope for opiate addicts like me...but the feds pretty much squashed it...I don't know why we even have a constitution anymore, it's such a joke, those poor founding fathers, who tried so hard to protect us from the real evil in this world: government...
But each generation, for their own selfish purposes, sold the next one down the river...
Decriminalization of marijuana? Watch what happens: out here they thought that solved the problem...nah...feds just laughed...

That is so awesome. I'm not even a big smoker and I'm pumped about that.

Well, df, makin pot a smaller crime means that they can start the ball rolling on making other PLANTS decriminalized, I.E. poppies. Not any time soon, but who knows. And with decriminalization comes further plant engineering. Who knows, they may be able to produce a strain of weed that tickles the mu-opiopd receptors somehow and be able to use it as a medicine for w/d's, maintanance, or pain. Which would probably make that strain/weed completely illegal once again. Think about the future, a poppie/marijuana crossbreed that produces opioids AND THC in the buds. Holy christ.

You're right Jay...I'm just grumpy about it...it hasn't really changed much out here, since the feds squash it...but you are absolutely correct: if the door gets opened even a crack, then people like me stand a chance...I just fear, u know, that it'll get worse before it gets better...and I won't be around as long as you guys...but it's true, it's hopeful...and maybe the feds will lighten up next presidency...good point...

hey don't feel too bad my friend, you aren't as old as you make yourself think you are, I think thats a big opiophile problem, we feel a lot older than we really are. I bet you'll see some major change in your lifetime, and i bet by the end of my life time we'll see some movement on the opio-front either bad or good, but different from where we are now.
