Hi i was just wondering I am a 5 yr.IV user of morphine I had ta spend 3 days in the alternative sentancing program from february17th-19th.Well anyways seeming I wasn't Gonna be able ta do it for 3 days(at least not IV) I decided to quit. The first month I breezed right through although I continued eating them(although I became extremely tiredwhere as IV makes me feel like a superhero)Anyways I went until April5th without IV even onceThen I woke up that night soaked in sweat, vomiting my brains outI mean I was so sick I thought I would die.At first I thought i had food poisoning, but after I stopped vomiting I IV'd a 90 Avinza.I got that warm rush I had missed so much and I haven't been sick since.I know you probably think its all psychological seeming I stopped for such a long time but during my days I wasn't IVn'g I just wasn't my normal self.I wasn't dope sick but I just got so drowsy and slept most of the time>I have Chirosis of the Liver so I'm wondering if this could be the reason it took so long for mre to withdraw.I have literally no veins and am seriously thinking of the browning method At least to try) anyone have any thoughts on this ta share I'd sure b grateful.Thanx sorry 4 the ink b-4.

Yeah the color you've chosen IS hard to read.
I can't imagine that withdrawal would come on so long after you've stopped using, but I get from your post that even tho you stopped IVing, you continued taking them orally. That would def prolong you from going into w/d, and your liver problem may have something to do with it.
I have plugged (or "browned") morphine several times now, and IMO it's the only way short of IV to get a high from them. And it is a very nice high, too. I'll never take morphine orally again, because I may as well just flush 'em down the toilet. Plugging is kinda uncomfortable, but it works, and it doesn't make you gay, either. Fuck the homophobes, I was a virgin 'down there', and I'm still not super-keen on sticking stuff in there, but if it will give me my beloved opiate high, then I say "open wide"!
Anyway, hope someone with more medical knowledge will post and help you, and change that font color, please!

Well, I had some of morphine that gelled up, but in my experiences, if you use fairly hot water, and crush up the pills really fine, it should work. I use a vet syringe, it's plastic and holds 3ml of water. I put the water in a shot glass and pour the crushed morphine pills in, then stir it up with a little wooden stick I have. THEN, while it's all swirling around, I draw it up into the syringe. You can actually see the stuff gelling up, so I can point the tip of the syringe at the gel crap and get most of it that way. Then up the bum it goes. To me, it feels weird, but certainly not erotic in any way. I could see if you were gay or enjoyed being on the receiving end of anal sex that you'd get a little extra bonus in addition to the opiate high, but to me it's a 'pain in the ass'--haha.
Anyway, it works so well that I have considered administering heroin that way. I only snort, no IV, and have a monster tolerance, so I would do this to make my heroin go farther. But I have not yet done the H this way, only morphine, and now what I once thought were utterly useless pills have value to me.
Hope this all made sense. Let us know how it works out. And I can now read your posts, too!

Hey Vanilla, Just to let you know, you may want to post your questions concerning Morphine and withdrawals in the forum for Morphine or in the Q&A section.
Sounds like withdrawals to me and addiction to opiates is more than psychological, it is physical as well.
Although opiates themselves are not toxic to the liver, liver disease can play a role in metabolism, drug clearance and drug storage.
While you will get a quicker rush with IV use, I imagine your oral dose is more than likely not at a therapeutic level.
You may need to raise your oral dose of Morphine to obtain the effect your looking for. While it may be just staying well and avoiding withdrawals, it may be necessary to avoid further problems with IV access and being sick.
Liver disease can have an affect on circulation and this makes it more difficult to find access in a vein.
Most often Morphine given orally is sub-therapeutic. Doses given in IV form may be fine for controlling pain, but in oral doses, you may need a higher dosage to acheive a level that is therapeutic. It is one of the most misunderstood aspects of pain management.
I hope this helps and remember to take a look at the board and I think you will find there are some really useful forums to post your questions. You can also send me a PM if you have any medical questions. I have experience in GI nursing and may be able to answer any questions you have regarding liver disease.
