I've been missing for about a year, so I hope this is in the proper forum. I'm only half junky. The other half is speed freak.
Many years ago I figured out that I liked amphetamines and opiates at the same time. That was in St. Louis, now I live in the sticks. This means I had to quit my pharmacy favorites and go to street drugs. No problem in the stimulant category-I'm in the meth capitol.
Big problem in the opiate category. Non available. I was desperate, even gulping down Tramadol. (On a side note, I still think Tramadol is excellent in keeping wds at bay. It really does help)
Now I find myself in full-fledged opiate withdrawal. First time. Ever.
How did this happen?
About a year ago an elderly guy at work told me about his wife, who has been on major pain-supression therapy for years. About how they had stockpiled many thousands of pills over the years, and they were getting old so they were gonna throw them out. About how, if I was in interested, I was welcome to come over and help myself to as many as I wanted-as long as I was willing to make a financial contribution.
I went, and they were all there: Morphine tabs, morphine 100mg caps, Dilaudid, and all of the lesser opiates that don't do me any good at all anymore. Now the pills are finally all gone and it's been great, but the price I'm paying right now, this minute, makes me forget all that.

Peace,

Using meth for detox has worked for me in the past...therefore I suggest you try that...hopefully it helps and doesn't suck...

How many fucking meth capitals are there now? Anybody keeping track?;)

Dont you love it when people completely ignore your question.

My meth tolerance is extremely high. I've been speeding along with the opiates for years. I could see it working on someone with no stimulant tolerance, though. Temporarily.
In the end you must pay. The body will take what it has coming.

Yeah my only experience with speed in the calibur of meth was a three or four month binge with a guy who needed a place to cook. Never charged me a dime for as much product as I wanted... had alot fun and when I got sick during that time I got thru the first three days with it then slept for two.
That was also my first speedball with meth...boy that was a day at the fair.

I'll tell you this: The human body never ceases to amaze me. How it can take many years of pumping garbage into it and still rebound if given half a chance. I used to booze it up heavily as well. Then one day I just lost the urge. No withdrawals, no nothing. This made me decide that I wasn't real alcoholic material.

I think using meth as a way to help yourself through w/d is a bad idea. I tried that once and for the first 6-12 hours it worked great, but then when you have to deal with the come-down of speed combined with w/d's from opies......oh man, your in for a treat. If your not use to speed, then please do not use it as a w/d aid. It will make your w/d's 100 x's worse.
