View Full Version : Will low opiate dose cause PW

I need oxycodone and morphine in my urine for the PM, but I'm on bupe. Whenever I took such drugs, I usually didn't stop for at the very least a week, so I never figured out whether I could take say 30 mgs of oxycodone and just keep taking my bupe. I didn't see this question when I went through the threads, so if anyone knows this please tell me. My thinking is that it won't as long as it doesn't displace the bupe molecules. Anyone with experience please tell me about it, thanks.

I don't quite get your question...are you asking if you can take oxycodone even if you are on Bupe maint? Rule of thumb, if you are already on Bupe, you can take other opiates with no problem...but if you are on other opiates and take bupe, it will cause precip. WD's.

Will the bupe come up? I have no idea and you've probably already thought of it, but that wouldn't be good.

I don't think they are gonna test my urine for bupe. I need to make myself dirty with oxycodone and morphine though so they see that I've been taking it.

The oxy and morphine will still show up even though you've taken bupe.....if that's what you wanted to know.

No I know it will, thats not what I want to know at all. I want to know if taking a low dose of morphine will cause wds from the bupe when it wears off.

No you'll be fine. The only way you would get precip withdrawals is if you had recently taken morphine or any other opiate and then took some bupe on top of that. The bupe comes in and pulls all the other opiates off of the receptors causing instant withdrawal. If the bupe is whats on the receptors to begin with...taking any other opiate wont do all that much, but it will still show up in a urine screen, and it wont cause PW.

i'm pretty sure the low dose of morphine will keep you slightly well after the bupe wears off, which will probably be a while depending on how much you have built up in your system
