Curious. Are you addicted to a particular straw?

Obviously I am. I've been using the same pen body for almost 2 years. It's from a Microtel.

It's got a little piece of duct tape wrapped around it with like a 1/4 inch flap hanging off so it doesn't roll around on the plate I use and mess up my lines. It also tells me which end goes in my nose.

I pretty much hate using anything else but when I'm not home I do have to use other ones because I leave my buddy at home.

It would really depress me if anything happened to it. A couple times I kind of melted the end when I was smoking off foil and I got a little twinge of panic. It got a little deformed so I cut just a little off the end and it's all better now.

It also gets a lot of dope stuck to the inside walls of it. After a week or 2 of use there could be damn near a half a small bag stuck in it.

Anyway I was just curious if others are so particular about what they sniff with or if I'm just a freak like my friend says. He's a straw slut. He doesn't care what he sticks in his nose.

When I would snort coke/H/pills I *hated* the idea of using currency because (1) who the hell knows where it's been and (2) I'd feel horrible if I left some residue and a kid got ahold of it and put it near his or her mouth. I doubt there'd be enough to cause a serious reaction but why chance it! I have two of my own and I'd be furious if that happened!

So, to answer your question, I always favored McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts straws. I always prefered those over "juice box size" straws. Not only that but you can also use one per session then toss it.

Yeah those wide body straws aren't bad. I'm with ya on the paper money too. From what I understand there is almost always some amount of "fecal matter" on it. New bills are probably ok.

I'm not really a fan of snorting. I mean, I'll do it if it's advantageous, like with the Subs or some other pill that can't be IV'd or taken orally, but I'm not "addicted" to snorting.

When I do snort, I just use a straw, and cut it to the length of about four inches. I also dont' like to use rolled up money, because I have no idea where it's been. You can buy a box of straws at the grocery for a few bucks, and each straw cut can make two or three snorting straws depending on what length you like. So one box of clean straws usually lasts me a long time.

The reason I'm not a fan of snorting is because it just gets old after a while. My nose / sinuses get clogged up and blocked, and it just doesn't appeal to me as much.

I do think that snorting lines can be a social way of using drugs, like smoking can, but honestly, I prefer to use alone. I always have felt that way. I don't mind socializing once I get high sometimes, but when I'm in the act of getting high, I prefer to be alone.

Yeah I snort by default. The dope I get doesn't smoke very well and while I have iv'd a couple times I just don't really want to deal with all the negative aspects of regular iv use. One of these days I'll get some caffeine powder and figure out how to smoke effectively.

Don't bother with the caffeine powder. I've done it before and it's a waste, the only good way of smoking heroin is if your shit is already smokeable.

Personally, I IV (and I'm addicted to the needle as much as what's in it), but when I sniffed I would always use the same 2 types of straws. Either the straws from McDonalds or a red straw from 7-11 - they were both really fat and could handle the huge lines I was blowing at the time.

I have a little gold hooter that is a hold-over from waaay back in the old cocaine days. I then used it to snort heroin, and now I use it to snort my stinkin' Subutex. And yeah, I clean it regularly. Man, if that thing could talk, it'd say "I've had a lot of drugs in me..."

I feel ya re the stink'n sub but don't hate on it too much. That stuff saves me a ton of money and wd is a thing of the past.

when i used to smoke heroin, i would always use the same pen body. i still have it. its yellow, and it says in purple lettering on the side "attitude is everything"

i always thought it was pretty funny. i use it anytime i snort anything too.

if you keep the same tube and use it for a while, weeks /mths...One day you'll be sick and you;ll unroll your tube...The reason you fold it before hand is that when you come to open it you have a border edges and all the recyclked smack is within the foil borders....

So when you open up that tube , you could have a tidy amount....I'm talking a score bag, no probs.And when your sick your sure glad you saved that same ol tube for weeks....

and she would snort her half and i'd shoot or cook and smoke my half
we'd always buy 2 glass stems
i'd filter mine up and use it as a crackpipe
and she'd use it as her snort straw

i tried doing the foil straw thing for awhile but i always nod off directly onto the tube and squish em. ive got no problem using money for snorting, if the products already passed through someones digestive system, bitching about the germs on your dollar is kinda silly

Only drug I snort is Ketamine, and I use keys for that. I used to have a 25 gauge syringe that I used for almost an entire year and it never got dull. I was so fucking pissed when I lost it, I was quite attached. I had a crater in my arm though, but it was so fucking easy to hit cause it never healed.

Hah, yeah, it's actually gold-plated, and was part of a razor/tooter combo that I got at some head-shop way back in the day when I fancied myself a cocaine king-pin or something. The blade is long gone, but the tooter has survived somehow.

And I didn't wanna come down too harshly on my Sub--you're right, it does keep me out of withdrawal. I just wish I could be getting high instead, but for a lot of reasons, that wouldn't work for me right now.

Do you know if they still sell those kits in head shops? I went into one a long time ago, like back in 2001, looking for bullets, and all they had were these metal looking things. I wanted, and still kind of do want, one of those contraptions that you screw the little glass vials into, then you switch the settings for "bump" or "line" I guess to get smaller or larger amounts. The head shops around here didn't sell anything like that, the vials or anything. Just the metal bullets which looked incredibly bulky, whereas the thing I'm talking about is smaller, and a bunch of bongs / pipes.

SWIM happened to be going through his stuff and he found an old straw. It was one of SWIM's favorites. He sealed the bottom and let the sink drip into the opening until it was just about full. Then he shook it likely and drank the water down. Ten minutes later, SWIM's lips went numb and SWIM felt as if he'd done a speed ball lite. Not to mention SWIM was stoned at the time too. Good times for SWIM I tell ya...good times. But, FTR, SWIM hasn't used since August. :)

Nah it's not that it isn't good. It shoots and sniffs fine and from what I hear it's way better than tar which is smokable. Theres just something about the refining process that makes it burn up at low temps. It does bum me out though cause I'd love to smoke it but maybe my lungs are better off.

When I snort I either use a clear Bic pen w/ the guts removed, or I'll use a McDonalds size straw, cut in half.
I used to be really into snorting my Roxis, but I ended up not getting long enough pain relief, and I'd blow through them before it was refill time–not good.

Look online i bought mine for like 5 dollars on ebay, its awesome, you can also buy full kits with bottle, spoon, leather case, tooter, razor etc, nice ones too. but yeah check out bullet snorter on google.
