To Mods or Admins, from Boxcar...

I wasn't sure how to go about this, but anyway: Boxcar has emailed me, and had hocked his laptop, and tried to log on in the library or somewhere, and says he isn't sure of his password, and could I let somebody know...

So I'm doing that: he's been going thru a tuff patch lately, and I know it means a lot to him to log on here, and he wasn't sure how to get hold of anybody, and I couldn't remember whether moderators could take care of this, or only administrators...he didn't want to bug anybody--me neither--but if any of you could email him w/a new pswd, or his old one, or u could send it to me, and my email is in my yahoo IM slot, and I didn't want to post his email on here, as I know that's a no no...he said it was cool to send it to me, if u wanted, then he could change it...

And I actually had gotten down to 3mg daily, but the methadone machine could hardly spit out a drop anymore, so I jumped today....we'll see...

Yeah I talked to box earlier, he's still going thru rough times, but @ least his doc's are keeping him medicated. Hope u guys can help him, I know he misses the ophile!

Yeah, I could be wrong, but the impression I got was that he had one of those automatic pswd things, and once he hocked the laptop, had no way of retrieving it...or someting like that...yeah, he's a good egg, and like all of us at times, going thru a bit of stormy weather up there in OC....

sadly my messenger was on said laptop, and the computer i am currently using is not mine i will not add it. i can fox my other laptop fer 95 bucks, unless anyone here can do it outta love :)

i will be putting together my own desktop i got everything to do it, i just dont know if im moving or not, i was told we have to be out by decenber so WTF is the difference, my life is sucken more every day.

iv fixed alotta computers but im a chickenshit when it comes to soldering the MB and my inspiron needs the AC connector soldered back on. i gotta quote for 35 bucks off craigslist, tho im a lil weary of that.

Yeah, I wouldn't solder it, either...when u get on yer feet, I'd just pick up a fifty buck motherboard from Craigs, or Newegg, and throw it back together...I've built several like that...and there's always linux if u need an OS, and any old cheap cpu will work, and u can pick up one pent4 or earlier, for cheap: the rest of yer shit should probably work...and I too have had to do my "library" days on public computers...sucks, but it's still "o.k." ....

Ya, man. Been talking to ya on the phone off and on, and I know how bad things are for ya... I really wish we (all of us) could help. I'd be more than GLAD to fix ur laptop, except shipping on that thing would be more than fixing up a cheapy desktop or the like :(
