It's highly subjective,but personally,I'd expect to suffer a little after as little as 2 maybe 3 days.

If you've been clean for a month or longer, then maybe a few days. It really depends on the person, what drug they're doing, and how they do it.

Last summer, I was clean from pods for 2.5 months. I got some "samples" in the mail, and I used at first once a week. No problem. Then, when I started even using two days back to back, I would feel some w/d on that third day (the first day of not doing anything).

Once you have a tolerance, it kind of fucks everything up. Because even if you do get clean and stay that way for a while, if you use again, your tolerance goes back up more quickly. Maybe not if you stay clean for years and years, but I've never had the will power to do that.

With heroin and especially IV heroin, again it's individual, but maybe two days back to back without feeling "that" bad. That's maybe though.

It's completely subjective but from personal experience you've got about 2 days before you'll start feeling shitty, 3 days and you're tempting fate...I'll go into full blown withdrawals again after 3 days. Fucking sucks, that's why I don't stop :D

i agree with the general consensus in that after three days of continual use,, expect to feel like crap on day 4---maybe not full blown WD, but apathy and lethargy for sure

When I quit Subs like AN IDIOT and started H last year, I remember feeling sick on the 4th morning, at my GF's son's 1st Grade graduation. Sucked ass! Sitting way up high in them filled up bleachers. Sigh... got home, and got on the early mornin' dark train, and was alright.

Some people will get the psychological effects strongly from one night of heavy use.... Especially if you are an ex-heavy user.

Those weekend binges were never anything I could do. I would do what was left early Monday morning and say, " No More!" But by Monday night I was calling the pager and heading for the ATM.

I get a taste and always want more.
I could never say "NO" when it came to H.

It would be nice to spend a weekend with a lot of dope and then just go on about your business on Monday.
God, I wish that could be me. To really enjoy the high and really feel it.
Not having to be dope sick, waiting for that call back so you know where to go meet him to get it.
Feeling like life is shit, but life can wait......You have 50 bucks you need to spend to feel better!

Now, I am sucking down 80 mg of Methadone to stay well. Thank God for Take Homes!

on the other side though, those people who aren't addicted will never enjoy it as much as us when we're super-incredibly-fucking sick, and then have a nice huge dose to get not just well, but high again.

Oh, I do remember that feeling,,,God, I loved that warm sensation that started in your belly and spread through your body making your head tingle. Well that is how it was for me.

One thing I noticed that never happened to me...After the first time I shot dope, I never got nauseous or puked. Only that first time. I had a boyfriend always kept something by his bed to throw up in. It just never affected me.
The only bad affect is if I did too much, I would get a bad migraine. Now go figure that one. I would get that great high, but then about an hour later, I would be rolling on the bed in major pain from a migraine.

Been clean now for a long time except for Methadone and I miss that high.

For me that headache is the sign of chasing too much smack...To be able to enjoy the buzz any further i had to stop chasing and wait for my H levels to diminish a bit....

But theres nothing quite like cluckin in a jail cell and then getting well once your ting has come through..
That truly defines the word relief....

^^ yeh and I've noticed that after you have had an addiction it seems to be easier to get sick after "chipping". When I was young and did opies I barely ever got WD's until I was hooked. After you learn the ins and outs its like your body reacts differently .

LOL, well played Jonny...I got a good friend of mine to make the buy for me and asked him to hold it until Saturday night when I see himat work, I should be good, I did a few play days on the subs, iI usually went two days then did the subs again, the next day I didnt feel sic sick, just enough that I didn;t feel great like I usually do, and I made all the necessary prep work, I have all needed supplies ready to go, I took the next night off at work, in case I didn't fell good, and I made sure the girl I am seeing (we work together) will be nowhere around me that night....I should be good, just hoping I don;t have the "oh god, why the FUCK did I do that" feeling the next day...
