5 Panel / THC50

Yesterday, I had a return to work physical and drug screen (5 Panel / THC50) after being off work for more than 10 months. I had a seizure while taking Tramadol. I've never had a seizure before, but due to the fact that the work I perform is very safety sensitive, the company wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to have another seizure (although, it can never be determined if I will ever have another seizure).

My question relates to the 5 Panel / THC50 drug screen. Over the last month, I was prescribed Oxycodone 10/325mg (120) and Vicoprofen 7.5/200mg (120) for lower back pain.

If you take more than the prescribed dosage of either drug, while the drug test show the level of the drug one is using. Although I have a prescription for both pain medications, I'm concerned about the level of the two drugs in my system.

Can someone tell me if the drug test will show if I have taken more medication than prescribed?

whats more than prescribed, do you go through you your stash in half the time and you did the drug test while you were doubling up? or do you get mulitple scripts from multiple docs?

I take about 4-5 7.5/200mg Vicoprofens at a time...4-5 times a day.

you should be fine. I had to get tested two years ago (before I was seeing a pm doc) and was rx 2 10mg hydro daily, but I was taking 40mg oxy and 5-6 hydro daily, I showed them my rx bottle and that was it. I also tested postive for THC and showed them my medical marijuana reccomandation and had to wait a week until the company decided that it was ok, being I was not high at work. I had to explain to them when I smoked or ingested marijuana, and that I never would or did at or beofre work, only at evening when needed. My iamgie changed in the company mindset for the next year everyone looked at me like a stoner, I actually left the company beacuse of this. Now I enjoy being my own boss, I and choose not to drug test myself...:rolleyes:

Panel test do not test for levels, just the presence of a drug... although some places that do testing send all possitive test in to be GC/MS'ed which can detect exactly how much of a metabolite is in the body (although for the most part they don't, they just want to possitively confirm that you are dirty before they fire you). This is quite expensive though, you should be fine unless you work in the health feild, law enforcement, or drive with a cheufers or hazmat licensence. One thing you should worry about though is the fact that they are going to ask you to bring in the remaining portion of your script.
