Any users of bup know about how long it takes them to detox from buprenorphine until their bodies respond to opiates again?

I would think 36 hours would be about right, but then again, we're talking from last dose. So wouldn't it be 72 hours or a simple 48?

I'm willing to be that long time users of bup would have a hell of time getting their bodies ready for opiates again, yes?

For me its pretty simple, if I am on 2-4mg a day I can feel opiates no matter what. But the feeling is somewhat subtle, and after 12 hours the effect is back to normal. On 4mg and up it seems to take at least 12 hours to really feel anything without taking a extremely large dose. It usually takes about 24 hours before the feeling is completely back to normal. When I took 24mg a day it would take me between 12-30 hours to feel full effects again. Not sure what you mean exactly by the final question...

My last question would be for someone who's been using buprenorphine for more than a year, consistently.

Billie, I was on suboxone consistantly for about 8 months. I was taking about 8 to 10 mg's a day. It took me at least 2 days to feel anything with no soboxone. I mean you can probably stop for a day and 1/2 and feel something, but like badrabbit said, it will be sublte. I hope that helps.

We all metabolize differently Im sure but I have two resources. I attended a bup training because of my work Depends on dosage but according to that training at 24mg daily Destaturation BEGINS at 16hrs half way detoxed at 24-36 and total detox at 48-72. (So you had it right-they dont even know exactly)
But here is my experience- at 1 day I got almost nothing, at 2 days-I felt "something" 3 days a little more.
But-
I did not get what I was expecting until I waited 5 days after last dose. (im a woman also-more fat cells)
I have had better experiences when I started drinking alot of fluids and exercising a bit. I noticed it increased my response to the bup itself.
