i just tried rinsing off my used bags, literally wetting the paper and then squeezing out the water and i shot it up.

within 10 seconds i felt an intense flood of something (blood?) to my head. i run to the mirror, its like when the rush hits you except this wasnt a rush, this was an adverse reaction.

i run towards my allergy medicine , and down a few predisones (poweful anti-allergen medicine that i happen to have on hand), holy shit its going away thank you god. i dont want to die.

i still feel extremely nervous i dont know wtf is happening to me, its 4 minutes after it happened and my ears and face is still beat red but i dont think im gonna die. im extremely shaky.

there must have been something in the paper on the glassines or something.i still feel like my face is flooded with too much blood. how the fuck would i explain this if i had to go to the hospital?

well if you were in fact about to die i dont know that youd have time to post here. im no doctor but would toss some benedryl maybe, but i never heard of yer other allergy med. so i dunno if its a bad combo. if you goto ER i would take the paper you squeezed there is no explaining at ER except the truth. or they cant help.

Wow, how are you doing now man? It sounds like you have had an allergic reaction to something, like you said. Prednisone is a steroid (corticosteroid) which does help with allergic reactions, good thing you have that around. Do you have any diphenhydramine (benadryl)? I would take 50 milligrams of that also just be on the safe side. How is your breathing? Really keep an eye on that. Itchiness? Keep us posted man and have a phone handy just incase you have call the hospital or ambulance if it gets worse, though it sounds like you are doing better. Scary stuff, but you have a good group of people here for you.

Sounds like there may have been bacteria in the paper. That's how people get cotton fever. From rinsing used cottons, there is a build up of bad bacteria. Did you use cottons too, or just the bags? That sort of stuff isn't fun, but not deadly either. Usually lasts a few hours. Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Unless you have a very good filter... But even then that is too much rinsing etc.

Maybe you just have to make a point of giving the packet a good tap, maybe a LITTLE scraping and throw it away.

Don't save them/tempt yourself to do something like that.

no this was certainly not the allergic reaction from dope, i had just injected the dope with no problem hours before.

i wet my baggies and squeezed the water out of em, something in the paper, the adhesive on the tape on the baggies, or from my hands must have done this.

it was not bacteria.

anyway, im better now but it scared the shit out of me.
